Not realizing, my husband and I showed up 10 minutes before they closed. The owner was more than happy to take our order and had our food ready in 12 minutes. Everything was cooked to perfection. 100% recommend!

The wife and I came to eat tonight, and we thought it was fantastic! We sat down inside to eat. Lou's was kept clean. The food is made to order so it came out fresh. She had a Cheeseburger which she loved and it looked pretty hefty. I ate the Chicken Philly Cheese with banana peppers, green peppers, and jalapenos. It was marvelous! We both had their fresh cut fries, which in all honesty were plentiful and delicious!

A friends social media post raving about the Philly cheese brought me here and they weren’t lying!! The Philly was dare I say, authentic and the fries were crispy and seasoned. The owner being awesome was the icing on the cake. Don’t walk, run to this new Jewel!!!
Let me start by saying that this is my favourite deli in Knoxville at the moment. I really wanted to give it 5 stars, but because of ONE thing, I had to drop it to 4 stars... let's review.Lou was one of the nicest guys I've met in quite a while. His family owns the restaurant and he's a very easy going and humble individual.Upon entering this N. Broadway hidden gem, I was impressed by the decor and vibe of the place. I asked customers that were dining if it was as good as I had heard it was and everyone eating there unanimously said,"BETTER!!!"I ordered the Reuben and the cheeseburger for my wife, they were out of fries, so I opted for tots. The Reuben was the best Reuben I've ever had, outside of New York City and the wife's cheeseburger was delicious... but THIS is why Lou's gets a four star review instead of a five...the tots were TOTALLY uneatable. WAY TOO MUCH SEASONING. It took me an hour to get that taste out of my mouth. IN THEIR DEFENSE, I think they may have accidentally seasoned them twice.In conclusion, I will DEFINITELY be going back!!! I can't wait to try, what seems, to be the most popular sandwich...the Philly cheese steak!!! BUT IF you want one of the best, the ABSOLUTE BEST Reuben in Knoxville, go to Lou's Deli &Grill.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!

Visited Lou’s for the first time Saturday night. We needed a meal to go and fast food didn’t sound appetizing. Happened to come across this spot by chance and went in with low expectations. We were pleasantly surprised at the service and the quality of food. My Reuben was delicious and filling. My husband really enjoyed the Philly Cheesteaks. We were especially impressed one single worker was managing the whole place that night (uncomfirmed if it was Lou). Overall this is a killer deli everyone in Knox should give a try!
