Disappointed. Spent $27.00 on a magpies cake at Kroger for my birthday, but it’s probably one of the worst I’ve had. It’s dry, it has random hard chunks in it, and the icing isn’t right, it’s like it just didn’t set right, it’s so granually.
Such a shame.

The cookies were very good. If you like chocolate chips in your cookies you’ll get them in abundance here. I like a little more dough but it’s hard to get it juuuust right but I really enjoyed the texture. Either way their chocolate chips are very good. Sugar cookies were good as well but go with the chocolate chip. I had the Twix brownie and I really liked it. Nice mix of flavors and good texture as well. The service was great as well. Plenty of customers were in there and I made a relatively small purchase but all the workers I encountered really interacted well with me and gave good recommendations and were very nice. Price isn’t bad for the quality of treats that I had.

I don't know what hoodoo voodoo magic they enchant upon their ingredients but magpies never lets me down. It has been a quintessential staple in events throughout my life now. I still remember the lemon blueberry cake we had 10 or 11 years ago for a parents friends birthday that was the best cake I've ever had. I am an emotional eater and catch myself reaching for the mini cupcakes on the shelves of three rivers in times of turmoil. Today I saw the girls bringing the stock in and had a rush of regret for not sticking around to see what goodies they toted in. I love magpies and hope they're around for as long as I am, thank you for your small business!

We can't wait to go into the actual shop because we noticed their pecan pies at Kroger and were excited to support local. This pecan pie was the unanimous favorite of our three desserts. Such rich and buttery crust, great crispy caramelization on the top, and just beautiful to look at with the leaf detail. It was somewhat pricey at $35 but totally worth it...especially given its large size and pretty on par with costs of other local bakeries. The Kroger brand was half the price but half the size, seemingly. We will pay their storefront a visit soon!

Everyone is so nice, you're greeted as soon as you walk in the door. I went to pick up a birthday cake but they had such a variety of other delicious looking items that I had to buy more. Everything was so good and the best buttercream frosting I ever had!!!
