I was looking for a place to eat in the area and saw that Firefly was near by. But when I saw the post by Emmanuel Sanchez and the fact that the management of Firefly had nothing to say about it I decided this is not the kind of place I want to support.

Service was impecable. Food was delicious. Eggs were perfectly fluffy and the potatoes tender. Perfect breakfast

As a guest of the hotel for three nights, it was logical that I would visit this restaurant at some point, which I ended up doing on my last night staying here.

To begin with, this is a very nice-looking restaurant and the decor is tasteful and elegant, in my opinion. The atmosphere really lends itself to sit down and enjoy a drink and a meal, which is what I fully intended to do.
Upon arriving, I was greeted and I directed myself to the bar, sat myself, and waited to be attended to. However, the staff would just walk by me, and I started noticing that other patrons would arrive and be almost instantly attended, while I continued waiting. This happened for almost 30 minutes.
After this time, I started noticing something rather curious. All the people were white, whereas I happened to be the only person who wasn't. The breaking point for me came when the neighboring chair for me was occupied by another man, who also happened to be white, and has his order taken within less than 30 seconds. In those close to 30 minutes, not one staff member bothered to approach me.

At this point, I decided that I had had enough and left. I don't want to think what this episode was, but I will call it for what it was, racist. Sadly this is not my first rodeo being the victim of racism/discrimination, nor will it be my last, unfortunately, but if you think of this establishment as an option, think again. On my end, this has left a bittersweet taste to what has otherwise been a wonderful experience here in Knoxville for me, as a first-time visitor from WA state. Will I come back, I hope so, but definitely not to this place/hotel again.

Arrived a bit early. We were greeted promptly by the hostess and told her we were early. She offered to go ahead and seat us but we wanted to have a drink at the bar before dinner. Once we finished our drinks, we let her know we were ready. We were seated and the manager stopped by to speak with us. Our server David was quick to arrive and take drink orders. He was knowledgeable about the menu and answered questions and made recommendations. I had the tenderloin filet and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Wife had the steak frites and loved it. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed at the Hilton for a week and ate here once for breakfast and dinner respectively. Both meals were gpod quality and I recommend the salmon.

Parking: Hotel attached to a paid parking garage.

Wheelchair accessibility: Hotel and restaurant are wheelchair accessible, noting there's a reasonably steep incline from the garage to the hotel front entrance.

Exceptionally good food, service and apnosphere. I got a ceasers salad, my go to along with Salmon which was fantastic. A cream style of pinaple anong with rice was very suprisingly taisty with the salmon.. also tried some local mushrooms cooked in a bine broth. Very good. Will be back tomorow

From the moment we were met and taken tom our table, the entire night was wonderful. The manager greeted us and thanked us for making the reservation, he then made recommendations for us at our request, and we followed his directions, and everything was wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We wrote it off cuz it was a hotel restaurant but it was the best food we had all weekend in town. Everything we ate was awesome. Beet & kale salad. Steak. Sprouts. Steak frites. Chili. I wish every hotel restaurant was this quality.

Good lunch today. Had the brisket sandwich and the chicken sandwich. Both were tasty, but the fried onion straws on the brisket were a cold greasy lump and disgusting. The rest of the sandwich was wonderful. Great fries. Partially good service.

I had the smoke house brisket breakfast and it was as bland as possible. Was there a disappointed? Don't know how you ruin brisket but they accomplished it. The waiter asked how everything was. I mentioned. It was horrible, barely touched it and he did not even offer. A discount will definitely not be returning. unfortunate

We waited a long time for everything which was unexpected as there was only us and one other person in the restaurant. Food tasted good. Drinks were small and expensive and not the greatest. Wouldn't go back but not bad for a one time thing.

We had a delicious breakfast this morning for the same price that we could’ve had a Starbucks coffee next-door. If you like a traditional eggs, ham, toast, and home fries than the Tennessee breakfast is the one for you. The sourdough bread was delicious, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the ham was a large slab of very delicious protein.
