Marie's Olde Towne Tavern

I went to Marie's for a nightcap and had such a great experience. I'm a solo female traveler so I'm always weery checking out new bars but as soon as I walked into Marie's, I was at ease. The bartender and patrons all greeted me with a smile and made me feel right at home. I had 2 beers for 5 dollars which was the cheapest outing I've had in ages. I did find out that there is an actual person named marie, unfortunately she was not there when I was but everyone in the bar said she's a pillar in the knoxville community and only had the nicest things to say about her.

The photo add is of my lovely mother. While I drink 2 dp that were a $1.5. My mother has a miller high life for $3.5 and one coke for the same price as the dp. The crowd was great. And over all had a good time, but the karaoke host cut my mother off on the mic twice. I don't want to make any assumptions but felt like there was favoritism on the line one. One girl sang after 3 people went up. We put in our names 2 times and it felt like we never got back on the stage. So it you like to sing. Get here early?‍♀️. Then the bar tender took away the paper and pen off our table after my mom bought her last beer because we lefted. Didn't see him take the paper off anyone's table but ours. There is no food her beside microwave popcorn.

Went to Marie’s for the first time today. Absolutely loved it!! Staff is so attentive and caring and looks out for your wellbeing. Atmosphere was amazing with karaoke and the patrons all having a good time together. Will be returning.

I love going to Marie's! It is so laid back and welcoming. You will never meet a stranger here! The prices are reasonable and won't break the bank. I love around the holidays they have get togethers with plenty of food for all and all are welcome! I overall love this bar and would recommend it to anyone!!

I really enjoyed my time here. It's right by Yee-haw brewery. There was a TN college football game at the Tim and this small town style tavern was a nice alternative to the extreme business of Yee-haw. Would recommend any time they are open. (Full bar)
