Best I can tell Mimi's uses open table as a waitlist App rather than serving as a true reservation. Arrived at my reservation time only to be told there would be a 20 minute wait. Walk-ins and reservations were just placed on the same check in list and were called for seating in order of arrival - reservation or not.
Fire 🔥🔥🔥
Orlando is a great asset to your company! Had brunch today. Wonderful!
We have become regular breakfast diners since we have been in Knoxville. The fact that they have a reservation system that is managed well is a big plus. There are many other breakfast options that are not even close to this quality and atmosphere that have lines out of the door and hour long waits only because they are savvy on social media. Get a reservation and walk right in with minimal wait time.
Best breakfast in Knoxville! Fantastic value. Incredible service! These people made me feel like a king!
The food here for breakfast was more than I could eat. Service was great. Will definitely return to this place for breakfast again. Keep up the good service and great food!!!! Kudos to Mimis Cafe!!!!
awesome food and service
I loved everything about this restaurant. The decor is tasteful. It is so lovely and clean. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff. We did not wait long for our food. They had some cheap and some more expensive items. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. It truly was one of my family's favorite dining experiences. If they still have their honey lavender beignets, they are worth every penny.
One of the best breakfast and brunch eating establishments in Knoxville. If you're passing through Knoxville, you'll regret not stopping here. Remember to get your muffins before you leave. They are the best!
We had a wonderful experience at Mimi's Cafe. The staff accommodated our large party beautifully. Service was excellent . The food was exceptional, across the board, arriving to the table promptly. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Our waitress was great and kept our drinks full and checking in. Food took a while to get out and when it did the eggs were cold. One order had what looked like one egg, the next persons order of the same meal had double the amount. Service was nice and atmosphere was nice as well. Would give another shot but not at breakfast.
Today's menu was their special holiday menu, but the food was just not great. The water smelled bad, the muffin tasted as though it had been cooked at the same time as a roasted meat entree and the remaining items were blah.
I gave the hostess my name with reservation, she stated she wrote it down & said it would be a few minutes. I saw a few people go ahead of me & asked her about it. She said she had already seated my party to which I replied, “well all 3 of us are still here!” She admitted she must have written down the wrong name. Another hostess told me we were next & she seated us right away & apologizied. I am glad they worked it out calmly & quickly. I know it was a busy day!
We came to enjoy a Sunday Brunch and were surprised to find they no longer offered a full bar, only beer and an attempt at hard seltzer mimosas. The hard seltzer is no match for a champagne. I would go again for a true breakfast, but for early afternoon brunch or a dinner, I enjoy a glass of wine... so will go elsewhere.
Pleasantly surprised this place. Last minute choice driving through Knoxville. It was super busy but the wait was minimal, the staff were excellent, and the food was tasty and came out piping hot. Definitely worth a try.
