First time visiting Mimi"s. The meal was very good. Very tasty sides. Plenty of food. The waitress was prompt and very nice. Will visit again for "normal" meal. I now know why my mother liked to visit.

Breakfast was delicious, but it would have been much better if they had served real butter for their muffins.

I ordered the chicken and waffles, what they served me makes me believe they did not wish me to return. Agreed. Two dried chicken fingers do not work for good chicken and waffles.

Love the menu! But tough to decide! My last two visits I got breakfast food, so breakfast is the basis of this review. Yesterday I got a seasonal Berea beef omelette and a seasonal pumpkin muffin. Absolutely awesome! Even though I am limiting my carbs some, I had to get an extra muffin (carrot cake-yum) to take home for the next day. Server was courteous, friendly, and helpful when I asked questions on trying to decide what to get. I upgraded this review from 5 years ago to a higher score. Over the years, Mimi's has had different ownership and management which resulted in different menus and quality. If you have not tried Mimi's in a couple years, I suggest you give it another go.

First time to Mimi's. It was below average. My wife got a salad and it was ik. I had 2 poached eggs on one very stale piece of sourdough bread with sliced avocado on the toast with the eggs on top. The eggs were under cooked and the avocado had black sections. So I had to remove the eggs which is challenging because they fell apart. I removed pieces of the avocado and salvaged what was left. The good news we did not get sick. I make poached eggs on sourdough homemade bread at home with sliced avocado and it beats this place hands down by a mile. Note: I did not complain. I decided to just leave this off our list of places we'd revisit.

I had a great family meal and it felt like a family dinner in the 80's. THAT'S A GOOD THING! The food was plentiful. The restaurant was clean. The employees were super attentive, welcoming and nice. The food was not five star but it was very delicious, home like and tasty. I will definitely be back!

I felt like the menu was a bit limited. The food was good but not remarkable. The service was excellent except the hostess.

Great food with a nice relaxing atmosphere with comfortable chairs.
The French onion soup is quite tasty and the fries are that perfect level of crispy.
Sherrel, my server, was very attentive even on a busy afternoon.
