The food was fabulous... the service wonderful and the atmosphere is delightful! Our favorites... tomato pie, chicken and waffles and pimento fritters. The sauces are really good. A great southern experience!

Terrible experience as well as the food was inedible. The minute my food reached the table and I tried it I was immediately repulsed, as someone who is not a picky eater as well I was astonished especially since it was such a simple order of a salad. Around 30 minutes after we left the restaurant my friends stomach suddenly turned up and down and she threw up repeatedly, as she had a very simple order of just chicken tenders. As well as service was TERRIBLE. The waitresses never once checked on us as well as hospitality was just not even there.

Hands down my favorite chicken place EVER. I dream about the tomato pie on a regular basis. Always great service and great beer selection.

Outstanding food and service! Beer selection was good, but BOURBON selection was fantastic!!!
Chicken is great, but so are their baby back ribs. Great spirit and tapped beer selection. Watch the game on TVs at the bar with the attentive bartenders.

Would have liked to give this 4 or 5 stars but one employee's actions put a significant blemish on what was shaping up to be a fine experience. Food was very solid! Our server was courteous and helpful. In fact, almost all the hard-working staff appeared to be really hustling to keep the plates spinning during a busy Saturday. The one hang-up was our food came for sometime before a 2nd round of drinks showed. I attempted to politely inquire with the bar if drinks sitting for several minutes at the end of the bar included what was for our table (which it did). The bartender snapped at me and basically dismissed like a child and told me go sit down. I've worked in food service and I WOULD NEVER TALK TO A CUSTOMER THIS WAY...NEVER EVER!!! Thankfully there are many great places to go in Market Square and we have options. We will give Myrtle's a break for awhile. When we convince ourselves to put Myrtle's back in the rotation for our family and friends, if that bartender is working we will turn right around and leave.
