Went on a Friday night before Memorial Day weekend the place was absolutely dead but the servers were too busy clean to provide standard customer service. It seemed like I was bothering them the entire time I was visiting the restaurant. Food was fantastic but there are better places to eat at

Have ordered from this location 3 times and each time the rolls are half the size of the rolls at the gay street or cedar bluff locations and are not rolled as well. Very frustrating and won’t come back to this one again.

I love Nama, don't normally go to the Bearden location. I order to go and they left out part of my order. Called numerous times, no one is answering. Watch out at the Bearden local.

It's always a busy joint, so it gets loud, but the quality of service is excellent for the price point and the food never disappoints. Try the chef's selections, anytime.

We went on a Thursday it was happy hour and the whole time the waiter complained about how they only had 2 servers, there were about 4 other servers walking around. Then we got sushi and dumplings, the dumpling were good but they made me and my family so sick. Then the sushi was good but it was just ok.

Not an Earth shattering experience. Mediocre sushi. Beware of the 3% surcharge for using a credit card, not stated on the door or menu. Meh

Stopped in here on a Friday night on a whim. And I have to say I'm glad we did.

We opted to sit at the bar, and the service was very attentive, interactive, and responsive. Our mixologist had great recommendations for cocktails, and she was on top of it with all the other guests as well. She never slowed down a single minute! A few people seemed to know her, so it seemed she had been there for a while.

The cocktails were top-notch! Well-balanced, pretty, and unique. I can't wait to try some others!

Our starters of seaweed salad and edamame came out quickly. The portion size of the salad was perfect for two, and I loved that they de-seeded the cucumbers served with it. Both we enjoyable.

Our sushi took a little longer to come out, but we weren't in a hurry, so it felt like a good pace for an evening dinner. I was really surprised at how fresh everything was! I have yet to find good sushi in the Knoxville area, but I was delighted by this find. We had several things! The YELLOWTAIL CRUDO - serrano, sprouts, garlic ponzu - was so very good! Fresh, light, balanced with slight heat. Loved every bite and that will for sure be a go-to! For rolls, we opted for the Dragon, Yoga, Rainbow, and Caterpillar. I really like each one, and my husband also agreed - it's the best sushi we've had thus far in the area. We are both excited to find it and come back.

So Robyn - why not 5 stars then?? Well, it needs some upkeep so it can match the rest of our experience. The floor was sticky, and the doors to the bathroom needed a good cleaning and refinishing. While the focus is probably on the food and drinks, the interior just needs a refresh! Like a close down for a few days and scrub the heck out of it. So yeah - that knocked it down for me.

But will it keep me from coming back - no - cause I'm excited I found yummy sushi finally!!

Very nice sushi bar! I called to ask if they had highchairs before I stopped in for a quick lunch with my son, and when I arrived they already had a perfect little spot set up with highchair and coloring page/crayons. Tuna Maki and eel ngiri were delicious, presented beautifully, and service was friendly and fast!

Told hostess I had a doordash order and she told me it was not quite ready yet. After standing for 15 minutes I asked her if she can check on it and she got irritated and then came back and told me it's not quite ready yet again instead of getting me an estimate. They literally just expect delivery drivers to stand at their store for dozens of minutes unpaid.

Way more than just a sushi restaurant. Sesame Beef with asparagus, bell pepper, onion, shiitake mushrooms, crispy fried filet tips,with rice really satisfies.
