The sushi deals are excellent. Great food and staff. One of my favorites sushi places.

Was not a fan of the sushi roll I got… the Boston roll. The eel did not have a good texture or taste, it was too mushy for my liking. I like my sushi a little more crunchy and only the end pieces of the roll had a crunchy shrimp in it.The crab Asiago dip with naan bread was amazing though!

First impression is alright. Feels more like a hotel bar than a restaurant, though.Sitting down at the table, the chairs are in good condition, but the cheap finish on the table means it feels permanently sticky -- I didn't want to touch it at all.My waitress was pleasant for the entire meal and, I believe, would have tried to improve my dining experience if I had requested. The other employees I could see or hear were also great to each other and the customers. No issue here.Onto the food itself. They still serve many of the rolls on very old wooden blocks. I cannot believe that's even remotely food safe. They are stained and discolored from countless uses and washes. I ordered a caterpillar roll -- the avocado was fine, the cucumber was almost non-existent, the eel was dry (but not rotten) and the crab was overpowering and honestly, not very good. I ate most of it, only because I was too tired to go get something else to eat. I also ordered the sesame beef. The vegetables seemed to be of good quality, but I have had better beef from a mall Panda Express. I ate a few bites and left. It wasn't worth eating more than a taste.I'm not sure what happened to Nama. It used to be a really lovely place for sushi and maybe some other foods to go with it, but now it's certainly not worth the prices on the menu. It screams of bad management. The food is poor quality for a $15+ plate, the tables are gross, and the wooden boards should be thrown out immediately. Something has to change before the rest of the customer base gives up, too.

Our sushi was falling apart like it was rolled in a rush or incorrectly. They added this spicy chili sauce to the side of the sushi without asking, it didn’t even go with the rolls, it was bizarre. They had over half the restaurant open, with over a 30 minute wait, just no efficiency in bussing tables or in the front of the house. I’ve had such a better experience downtown. I think this place is way too big for what it can handle. I was very disappointed and I’ve been to Nama over 10 times.

We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, Caterpillar Roll and fish tacos. These came with Miso Soup and Garden Salad. These rolls are less expensive than other rolls but to look at them, one would think that these were of the more expensive type of roll. They were as Delicious as they look. The fish tacos which were also beautiful to look at were very Tasty! The soup and salad were so fresh and good. Portion-wise, servings were generous and although we could have had to go boxes, we ate it all, right there. Jillian was our server and she was so efficient and so funny that we felt like we had found a new best friend! Service was the best and we hope you will go and discover this Wonderful restaurant.

Glass separating the tables was disgustingly filthy.Sashimi was fresh enough, service was good.Sushi wasn’t great, thoroughly mediocre, definitely not worth the price.

We went on half price Thursday. We had to wait 30 minutes at 8 o'clock. I think they just were understaffed. The sushi we ordered was really good. I thought the prices were good, but I wouldn't pay the full price for what we got.

I frequent all 3 nama locations and love the food. I would recommend nama even if sushi isn't your thing. The food is very tasty, fresh and the menu has a good variety. That being said you can count on finding good service here. Unfortunately the server I usually get here at Cedar Bluff was not in today and a server that brings a grouchy attitude into work can set the mood for coworkers and guest. Food is 5 star today's server was 1 star = 3 star.
