My husband had the steak Bandido Chimichanga and it was ok. The steak was tender but wasn't seasoned too much. I had the Pollo Borracho (Drucken Chicken) and it was terrible. The bacon on top had a strange flavor and the chicken tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. Service was very slow and there was only is and another couple eating. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Most authentic Mexican food I have tried in greater Knoxville. Fresh ingredients, great choices with a large menu and good size servings
My meal choice was standard enchilada, rice, beans. I'd grade it a B. Ordered creamy Pina colada rated highly by another diner. Was very "chemical" tasting, couldn't drink it and left it. Had just come from Mexico where there are great drinks with natural fruits, not syrupy mixers. Ugh! Would have appreciated it being deducted fully or at least partially from my bill.
If you want to get sick eat here. The salsa was watered down, the chips were stale and the sweet tea was watered down. 3 of us sat down to eat, the chicken strips were a chicken breast cut into 3 pieces the fries were cold, the hamburger was burnt and the forgot to put anything on it. My California burrito was bland, I’ve ate Tex-mex with more taste. All 3 of us got sick that night.
Having traveled the world and lived in 3 continents i finally found By far the best Creamy piña colada I’ve ever had !! I was the perfect amount of alcohol wrapped in a creamy pineapple coconut vanilla ice cream. Topped with whip cream and a cherry… heaven on earth ?By the way their sizzling fajitas are magnificent.
We had a nice, delicious lunch here. The front is unassuming but it was nice and clean. The staff is very attentive and warm. Will surely be back.
My husband and I would frequent this restaurant often. Over the past two and a half years, we decided to visit again after the pandemic. The waitress tries very heard to serve us but everything else fell by the wayside. It was Monday and the special was the sampler platter. We ordered it but our waitress had a hard time explaining to us that it was enough food for 10- 15 people. We informed her that it was going to be all we would be eating. It took a while to get our food and we ended up receiving the sampler platter from the menu and still had to pay $60. We ended up ordering the chorizo queso because we assumed that would come with the initial sampler special. It was confusing that the Mobday special was meant for for a group not sure why it's a special then. Either way, each time we try to give this place another chance, it seems to be worse than the last time.
Friendly service, great atmosphere decent pricing and great food. Best part is, we share the same parking lot now.
Good food, quick service. Shocked that they don't have frozen margaritas though. But the margaritas on the rocks were delicious!
The most disgusting salsa in town. Then I was charged 9 bucks for a Jack and Coke, but the coke was out of syrup, so it was also disgusting. But still charged me after I expressed this. I told the waitress how bad it was and that I changed my mind about ordering my family dinner, and she started griping at me for explaining why I no longer wanted to order food. I wish I could give zero stars and close that place down. DONT GO HERE

First time trying O Chulos. We enjoyed it. I had the fajitas. They tasted good, were a good portion size, and came with queso on top. The side place had most of what you would expect except guac. Family had a chimichanga and some elaborate enchilada. Both of them enjoyed it. Cheese/queso dip was great.Would rank the food among the better Mexican food we’ve had.Atmosphere was a bit basic, but felt authentic. Server was good. It’s a smaller restaurant.
This is the best Mexican Restaurant in our area! I am so glad me and my family found you!!
Friendly staff and great food. Got the ground beef chimichangas and they were very good.
We only came here after the wait was too long at a nearby restaurant but I'm glad we did. The food was really good. I got the steak fajitas. The service was good and it was pretty fast. It wasn't crowded at all even on a Friday night but I would definitely recommend trying it.
We figured Mexican restaurants are always good and fast. This one proved us wrong. There was only one other family in the place since it was mid-day. Took half hour to get margaritas and never an apology that it took so long. After another 20 min we asked if they could make our food to go. She brought us to go cups for our drinks and said they were just boxing it up. We get to our destination and open the food. The chimichanga was literally burnt and the refried beans tasted majorly burnt. We asked if there was plastic wear in the bag, yes, but no knife. Ever try to cut a burnt chimichanga with a warped plastic fork? I have never been so disappointed in the service, timeframe and food at any of the Mexican restaurants in the area. Will not be back nor recommend.
