O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar

Never got to eat..Went in and stood for 10 minites...No one sat is and we were the only ones there to be seated...Bar waitress ignored us..Another waitress walked right by us ..No one even spoke..Both waitress looked straight at us
And went on....So we left...

No way would i let customers stand there and staff ignore them on purpose..They need to be trained to at least acknowledge people ... Happened 1/21 around 12:45pm

The food was good and reasonable. The loaded potato soup was delicious. The service a bit slow, but friendly and helpful. Overall good experience.

My daughter, husband and I came Monday 8/29
We frequent this location a few times a month.
(This review is not about our server, she was awesome).

Right off the bat, the server/host (bald headed guy) had an attitude.

Our soup was served barely warmed.
I said whatever and fed it to our daughter while we waited for our main food.

Only to find a beard hair (blonde/red)
In the soup.

At this point, I was like I’m good, I’m done.

The female manager, was rude and acted as if I was lying about a HAIR in the soup I was feeding my child.

We tipped the server and left. Mind you, husband has black hair. I have no beard.

If the loud, busy and over bearing atmosphere of the big chain named after a Lone Star state is too much, the quiet reserved atmosphere of O'Charley's is for you. The food is always good and worth the time to slow down and enjoy a peaceful meal.

Hadn't been here for a while but was very satisfied food was Great!! Salisbury steak was delicious and the grilled chicken tenders were awesome drinks were good service was great. Glad we gave them another go

I had a party of 3 sat down at 12pm on a Thursday there were 7 tables seated not very busy and 2 other waiters + our waiter . Our waiter just seemed very unorganized and seemed they second we sat down he wanted to flip our table to get someone else at a table. Food was good and left at 12:45. I myself have worked as a waitress and felt this waiters was very impatient with us. Took our drink order and brought salad and soup out before the drinks. I have lived in Knoxville Tennessee for 25 years and have been coming to O’Charley’s for 25 years. I will not be coming anymore to that one. I was so displeased with my service.

My family was seated at 6:10 pm the hostess got our drink order and said our server would be right with us. She didn't come take our order until 6:30 then proceeded to talk to the table next to us for another 5 minutes before turning in our order, we didn't get our food until 7:05 which brought by another server and it was wrong. We told him what we needed for it to be right and that took another 5 minutes to fix. We only saw our sever 3 times the whole meal. Very disappointed in our meal and service.

Our server, Brandy, was excellent! She was friendly and attentive. On a scale of 1 to 10, the food was an 11!! We tried the Bavarian Pretzel with the queso. It was so, so good. We also had the classic cheeseburger. Wow!! It was great! It had the grilled taste...basically because they cooked it on their grill :). The manager was nice as well. You won't regret coming here.
