Really refreshing to find a nice place downtown that isn't overpriced for subpar food. I got the chicken club sandwich meal for the same price as Chik-fil-a, but it was way better and the service was way nicer. As a downtown employee on a budget, I thank you.

11/18/24 - Today was my court date for my speeding ticket on I-75. The cop didn't show up, so I was feeling ravenous after a private celebration. It's 10 a.m., and the closest place open, and near the courthouse was the Order Up Cafe.

If you're looking for a fast hot meal without the price gouging or fancy plates, this is the place. The cashier tells me they recently started catering to the courthouse staff & local jail, which is proof enough of their speed.

Seating very limited inside, maybe to a dozen people-- but ample outside the plaza. As of today, their restrooms are private, and you will have to ask for a key, due to the loitering around town

I got their special: the hashbrown scramble, hot, quick & filling without fancy seasonings and tossed in a cardboard recyclable container. You'll need some ketchup, mustard, or dip if you have a sophisticated palate.

The cafe is inside the First Horizon Plaza, from the upper side. The plaza can not be accessed by the parking garage on this corner; you must come from the South Gay or the Courthouse. From the courthouse, the entrance is on Level-M, then exit north to the bridge over Main St. The plaza will be on your right after you cross the bridge.

Parking: Parking only free weekends, otherwise it's about $2/hr on a meter, or $5/hr in a garage

Wheelchair accessibility: Just roll up and order! There's just a couple small tables to eat, but many more outside

Fastest and most affordable spot for lunch in downtown Knoxville. I really like the “build your own” wrap option. I put my order in on their website and it was ready for pickup within 10 minutes!

Parking: Can park at state street garage or the street parking.

I gave the restaurant a 3-star rating overall. The breakfast was okay, but I was really put off by the service. When I went to pick up my food, the person handling the strawberries was using their bare hands. That's a major health code violation! They basically threw my food at me and didn't even say 'have a nice day.' I hope the restaurant can address this hygiene issue.

Food is good. I eat here often since I work in the building. The new paper containers are awful though. They break down when moist food is placed in them so you end up eating bits of paper container along with your food. I stopped ordering omelettes because of this issue. The oil/butter on the eggs turns the container to mush. I understand wanting to be earth friendly but, maybe there is another alternative.
