Order “rapid pickup” and it wasn’t rapid. The order wasn’t ready until 25 minutes AFTER the time promised. It has never taken this long. Ever.

Everytime I pick up an order for DoorDash, the workers are always extremely rude and will ignore me. I am always sure to be polite and kind. But they need some new workers at the counter. I am one to never leave a negative review but someone should be hired who will be kind to the DoorDash drivers.

Food was OK, but workers were rude and I felt rushed when placing and paying for my order. They didn't say thank you either. Restaurant wasn't very clean, hard to find a table that wasn't sticky. I won't be coming back to this location.

Both of our items we ordered were wrong and there was hardly any meat on the sandwiches. I ordered French onion soup and it didn’t have any cheese or croutons on it. Just plain onion soup.

I waited an hour and a half for a Chicken Caesar Salad in Rapid Pick Up ... that didn't come with chicken. Yes, you read that correctly. Not to mention, if you place a Rapid Pick Up order, instead of putting it on the shelf, they leave it behind the counter.

Panera-pocalypse 2025 This place is an absolutely disaster. Visited today at 11:25, placed an order with a trainee for one bagel and one order of kids Mac and cheese. Fought through crowds of people in the galley to get a fountain drink near the disgusting beverage station (looks like it hasn’t been tended to in days)
After finding a small table with crumbs and sticky mess all over it, I helped myself to the Sani wipes that sit half open on top of the garbage can for customers to clean with themselves. My kids were starving and it had been 20+ minutes by this time. I kept staring at the pager wondering if employees were even buzzing them or just shouting orders instead.
I worked my way up to the food line and asked for my order to go, since by this point my kids were fussing and crying. Susan, who wasn’t in Panera attire and I assume was a manager, barely looked me in the eye when I kindly asked her if I could get my order to go. She responded with, there are 32 orders and we only do six at a time so you’ll have to just wait. Since waiting was no longer an option for me, I kindly requested A refund. Visibly annoyed, Susan told me to meet her at the reception area, where she gave me a refund and did not speak one word during the process.
The only employee, and I truly meanthe only employee who is kind and gracious at this location is a sweet black woman, who I can never catch her name. She always greets people kindly, and she offered us a cookie for our Inconvenience. Without her this location would be even more of a dumpster fire than it already it. (I think her name is Charlease based upon other reviews)
I emailed corporate and I truly hope that this location can get an entire remodel, get some motivated new staff, and turn things around for Knoxville. This is a very popular location, and their popularity is the only thing that is keeping them afloat. Please do better and understand that customers do not want to wait 30 minutes for a bagel and mac & cheese, we understand that crowds come in and you guys get extremely busy, but you cannot expect patrons to wait 30+ minutes for a grab n go meal.

I have come to this Panera for years and I don’t understand what’s happened to it. My food used to always be hot fast and on time, and now it’s cold and wrong. I literally ordered a turkey bravo and got a plain ham and cheese on white bread, not a single condiment or piece of lettuce. I drove all the way home and didn’t realize it and suddenly I don’t have dinner! I even tried to put my own condiments on it and eat it and it was bad. I used to love Panera… $12 for a ham and cheese.

why is it this place can’t get its act together and push out food. seems like everything is at a snails pace everytime I come always a 30-1 hour wait it’s ridiculous! other paneras can slam the food out not this one

Remembering now why Panera is out of the lunch rotation.
Put in my order. App said it would be ready at 11:59. Pulled into the parking lot about 12:05 and had a notification that the order was delayed. It is now 12:30, and I am still waiting. Watching the tracking screen, and I have been going back and forth between pages 1 and 2. So names are getting put in ahead of me? I suspect delivery service is getting priority. If so, that is not ok. I came here so I would have to wait for delivery. And my standing here is a huge waste of my time. Won't be back for lunch probably ever, dine-in, take-out, or delivery.
And the waiting area isn't anywhere near large enough for the number of people here.
Edit: and on top of all that, I got back to the office and discovered part of the order (half a you pick 2) was missing. I know, I should have checked before I left, but still.

The food is always good and the employees are beyond friendly and always super helpful and patient.... The only thing I wish was different was how big the dining area is. All the tables are super close together and there's not much walking space or space between them in general... Makes it feel very crammed inside.
