Papa Johns Pizza

Ordered online, went in around 6pm to pick it up and the service was poor.

A tall Caucasian man wearing a branded Papa Johns beanie and mirrored sunglasses helped the customer in front of me. The tall man acted like a manager or an operator. I held the door as the customer left, and when I walked back to the counter there was no one there.

For several minutes I just stood there unacknowledged watching Mirrored Sunglasses talk to drivers and check things.
When a cook came up and asked my business, I told them I had an online order.
The cook turned around, found it, and handed it to me right away.
So I've been standing here for no reason while the food gets cold on the shelf?
A simple solution would have been for anyone to just give a shout and ask why I was there. Full staff but no teamwork here.

Very disappointing, a poor customer experience all around.
I expected higher standards and better teamwork from Papa John and expect we will go to a Domino's next time.

Papa Johns is still one of my favorite pizza's it's normally hot and tasty. Lately the service has been downhill at best. I was in the cedar bluff location and the store was packed I guess for the CFP game the managers were screaming at each other at the top of there voice about what each needs to be doing. It does not add to a customers experience to be involved in management problems when all you want is quick service and go. I was also told a up to a 1 hour wait for pizza. I will select one of the other 1,000 places to get pizza next time.

I said cook a little longer not burnt😵‍💫 $25 lunch down the drain. And I’m a Ta so I’m pretty much broke. So much for meal prepping and eating on this a few days. And THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS ! Please refund me my money so I can get more pizza!!!!

Came on here to give a shout out to our delivery driver, Travis. He was so sweet and had the best attitude. Never knew receiving a pizza could be so fun! He made my day. He was simply excellent!

It took 50 minutes for this to arrive. I live less than 2 miles from the store. It arrived cold and stale. Probably the worst pizza I have ever had. The cinnamon pull aparts taste old and the pizza taste like its been microwaved after sitting out all day. Also missing an item. When I called to tell them I was missing the item they said they would issue a refund,I paid cash, so they asked what I wanted. I asked if they could deliver the missing item they said sure and hung up. Its has now been another 30 minutes and the missing item has not arrived. Again I live 3 minutes away. And the only reason I havnt just gone up there is because I already paid $6 for delivery.

Update. Never got my missing item. Called again. Was hung up on by the manager. Ended up driving to the store for a refund. Will not order from here again. Terrible food and even worse customer service!

Two different times in the past month I went in for a pickup order. One was last night at about 10:45 and the other was a few weeks ago, both picked up inside. The one a few weeks ago I was greeted by a younger guy brown hair, almost looked like a model as weird as that sounds, but he was super kind even opened the box to make sure it looked good. Older gentlemen last night asked if we were placing an order and was very kind about it which typically places aren’t if you come in that late. Told him I was picking up, he made sure i got all my food and even my extra garlic butter. Really appreciate the customer service here, plus food has been amazing both times.

My friends I had papa johns for lunch on 7/4. We all ended up with GI issues. I’m having cramps as bad as labor contractions and I only ate one slice.

I’ve ordered from this location for years without issue but this delivery was pathetic! Pizza was crushed to one side of box and toppings stuck to the lid. On top of that the pizza is not even hot!Completely unacceptable!!!
