The employees Thomas and Brianna were extremely nice and helpful! Food was great and affordable! They made sure they got the order right. Highly recommend this place, it’s great everytime!

I’m just disgusted on the employees.. we came in luckily with an online pick up order but the people who came in before me (at 6:15pm keep in mind) and the guy working told them they’d have to wait on the online orders and that they close at 8. The guy understandably left.. but right after he left the phone rang and he yelled at the other employee not to answer the phone. Then they cleaned out the tea containers and another customer comes in and orders.. they say at-least it’s just a cheesesteak. YALL ARE STILL OPEN ANOTHER HOUR AND 45 MINUTES 😂

Have always over this place. Had a bad experience last time and was gonna leave it alone. Went in again tonight and was unfortunately met with another one. So here we are.

Walked in, waited 5 minutes before ordering. Right as I was ordering a group of online came in, and the employee went to add those orders to the line. Came back and told me it would be about 10 minutes to which I told him that was fine. He then proceeded to say close at 8 (it was 6:15, which I told him). He then said it would be a little bit cause he had to prioritize the online orders. We left. Two times in a row the employees don’t care, treat customers poorly, and tell you they are closing two hours before close. This location needs a lot of help and some training.

Sub is literally 90% bread. Another person posted a picture showing it below. Really no meat on the sandwich. Not even a whole piece of cheese is used. Even with extra meat it's still 90% percent bread. Too expensive for what you get

The food was very good. You could tell the staff was overwhelmed for it being black Friday and only two working at the time. The restaurant needs a deep clean. Not only were the walls dirty, but there were cooking utensils on the ground under the grill. You can see this from the dining area but maybe not the kitchen.

Parking: Parking lot shared with shopping center.

Kid-friendliness: Highchairs available. No changing table in bathroom. Did not see a kids menu.

I went in and placed an order for my food. I was told to I could pay at the counter but no one came to ring me up. I watched a couple come in after me and get rung up. When my food was ready I was asked to pay but the pin pad system went down. No one seemed to know how to fix the pin pad system and told me it would have to be paid in cash. I only had my card and I offered the idea of me ordering my food as an online pickup so I could still pay and take my food. The workers didn’t seem to know how to use the online system when I asked for assistance. After a while I was able to take my food. Disappointing that when I did finally get it after almost 20 mins of the food being ready my fries were cold and one of my sandwich’s was made incorrectly. It was just disappointing customer service and at the end disappointing food.

Horrible staff. My fiancé got off a 12 hour ER shift just to be treated like trash by the staff who was working on November 2nd. She placed an online order and upon arriving to the store at 7:45 PM the staff told her they were closing. My fiance offered for them to cancel the order however they said they couldn’t and proceeded disrespect her the whole time. I’ve been a restaurant server for years and never treated anyone like that. Will definitely be going to corporate.

for the past few months we went to penn station subs on n peters rd whenever we drove into knoxville, about every 4-6 weeks. at first, the food was delicious with generous portion sizes and perfect french fries. the staff was quick and efficient. and, the place was clean. we went again yesterday. none of those descriptors apply now. the place was absolutely filthy. so much so our shoes stuck to the entire floor and squished as we walked. the portion sizes are about half what they used to be. and, the french fries were hard as bricks. Plus, staff was unfriendly and incompetent. we asked 2 out of the 3 staff members for new fries. neither complied. finally, we got more, which were exactly like the first batch - only hot. it seems like they re-fry fries that sit in the basket next to the fryer. one of the snotty girls made a snide remark from across the kitchen and I responded by telling her whomever put the original fries in our basket knew they were inedible, but chose to serve them anyway. Needless-to-say, we will not go back. I'm sure this will happen with most other customers and penn station will go OB in no time.

Walked in and found young girls behind the counter just playing around instead of paying attention. Subs were wrongly made. French fries had so much salt they were not edible. The whole time we were there all they did was goof off. The next guy came in and they messed up his order as well. These girls should not be unsupervised. Use to love coming here, but this will be my last time. Such a shame. It use to be phenomenal.
1 star is too much.

Not sure what happened but this USED TO BE our favorite sub place. In the last few months, every time we've been in, there's been 2 young ladies running the place and they don't seem to have a clue what they're doing. Subs are always wrong, not 1 but 2 or 3 times before they get them right. They either don't listen to the order or don't read the tickets. Quality is not as good as it was. We gave it several tries but now we won't be back.

I haven’t had Penn Station in a couple years and they reminded me why today. Every item but the fries was wrong. It honestly felt like they didn’t read the ticket. I feel like calling this a restaurant is not accurate so I’ll say this address was dusty on the inside and the floor had spills that had been left unattended. Don’t waste your time at this location. It’s not sanitary
