The idea sounds great. But just can't get into the flavor. Everything tastes artificial. Would like to rate them high, but the food is just not good. Food tastes like it was made in a factory. No soul. Tried the hotdogs then pulled pork nachos. The hotdogs were not bad. Big mistake; bbq tasted like crockpot pork with no seasoning with a cheap bbq sauce spattered on it to give it flavor. I hate to throw away food, but after about 3 attempts to eat, I tossed the whole container in the trash. Literally could not bear to eat it. You can't fake a quality meal. Either it's prepared with care and skill or in this case; a sloppy mess.
Davis and his great team always take care of us during lunch. We come every Monday in a group. This week it was busy!
So good! I added chicken to the chili and it was so delish! The customer service was out of this world. Super fast too, I got it to go and ate it while enjoying strong alley. I will definitely be back for the big size when I visit Knoxville again. Thanks!!
Eaten here numerous times but just had a really nice interaction with the folks who were working close on a rainy Tuesday evening.
Came in 30 minutes before close and knew we were pushing the line on decency. But Nick and the rest of the folks working were incredibly friendly despite our late arrival. We opted not to eat in but we very much appreciated the staff. Also the food is stellar as always!
This is the worst Petro I have ever been to. I ordered my food to go and they put my chili in a Styrofoam box.... And it was spilling out. I asked them to put I in the standard petros bowl because I was going to be traveling with it to my hotel and didn't want it to spill and the manager got rude with the woman who asked for the accomodations to be made and kept making nasty looks at me. If you do not like your job and cannot do it correctly then you shouldn't be working your job. I love this franchise and enjoy the chili but will not be back . I still cannot believe the nasty looks the MANAGER gave me over changing my chili into a bowl like it is supposed to come.
Nates attitude was so upbeat and energetic it made me like the place. Food was good but atmosphere was even better.
Nate was absolutely fantastic.
Excellent kind service. Good food. Local lived location!!!
Beware of the rickety table by the trash can. Our two drinks fell over, I set them back up, then the table wobbled again spilling what remained. It was a waterfall of coke and tea. The staff was nice about it & cleaned it right away. I can't imagine I'm the only one who has been victimized by this table. I wish I had found it funny, but I was horrified at the time. . . The food was good. I ended up with more Fritos than chili. I shouldn't have ordered the tea, I didn't like it. I only ended up buying it because I didn't want to be charged for water.
Terrible, not worth it

I have been coming to this location for a few months now and every time the staff are very friendly and respectful. The store is always very clean and the food is very delicious. The prices are not outrageous.

We were told it was a must to try. Definitely not what we were looking for. Unfortunately, so many better places in Knoxville. We are from the North and didn't realize it was a chain
