Plum Tree Chinese Restaurant

I started going to plum tree when I was 9 years old I am now 43 we moved to Knoxville for a short while and I never would eat anything but pizza and burgers and what not we decided to go here same spot same owners. I fell in love and for the next few years we were regulars now fast forward to now same building same people and the food is still just as great and I went maybe 15 years before I ever returned because we moved back to Morristown. My kids now once a month ask when we're going back. Thank you to the owners for maintaining such awesome food and now you have became a favorite to 3 generations of my family. I'm soon to be a grandpa so I'm sure you will be feeding the 4th generation. If I could give a bigger star revue I would.

Food was really hot, but the rice was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The service was friendly and food came out very quickly. However, it was REALLY hot inside and it felt like the AC was not on. We were sweating so much, it was honestly uncomfortable.

Love this dish, Chinese barbecue style and been many places from here to Florida and back again and cannot ever get anyone to make this dish. It’s not even close

As a Duck hunter i just had the Roasted Duck, i also called it in to go. This duck is on the bone, some of it, but the rest is sliced. The skin is crispy, and the meat was so tender, and juicy, as bad as i hate to say it this is the best i have ever had. This is my first time at this restaurant, but they will know me by name because this will be a once a week treat for me. Half Duck is plenty for one person. We ordered a whole Duck.

I ordered the chicken Singapore noodles and it was definitely the best I’ve had ever. this place has fantastic atmosphere and very clean restrooms. The prices were very affordable and the portion sizes are great for one person. I took a picture of there neat sink in the restroom.

The food was amazing. We each ordered something different to share. The staff was friendly with excellent service.

Not what it used to be.

We use to love this place however after today we will no longer order here. The way they packed the food the soup poured into the plastic bag. The bag had holes so the soup started leaking all over me. Hooray for being burned by hot soup. Had to hold the bag out the window so the soup wouldn’t leak in the car. Drove back to make them fix the order, no apology, didn’t offer a refund. $30 waisted and get to spend even more getting the spilled soup off my car. 0 stars

Tried the food and we threw it out. Soups tasted like dirty dishwater and the rice was days old.

We stopped in on our way back from Nashville to Johnson City. My wife found it on Google Maps and thought we would try it. SO Glad we did. The service was excellent and the food worth every penny. We tried the beef and broccoli and the General TSO chicken.
