Great little Mexican restaurant on Middlebrook Pike. Be careful you can drive right by this gem.

It is very, very difficult to find good Mexican restaurants in E TN. This place actually uses fresh ingredients. Tortilla soup and chilaquiles are marvelous. Service is pleasant and prompt.

The food was very good, the server was on it the whole time, it was a little loud, hot and too many people in the dining area.

The food was decent, but lacked flavor. Service was fine. Atmosphere felt boring compared many other Mexican restaurants in the area. Margaritas tasted watered down. Price was reasonable.

I had a pulled chicken quesadilla which I really enjoyed. The salsa was a little watery, but the queso was tasty. I did think the margarita was incredibly weak and I would not recommend it.

Our dining partners were not impressed with the fajitas sharing that the vegetables were not grilled at all, but that's not what I ordered so I didn't have that impact my review.

The fried ice cream was pretty good, and the churros went over well, too.

Not at all impressed with any part of this restaurant. It was our 1st visit and likely our last. I ordered a chicken chimchanga and took maybe 3 bites because I didnt care for the spices used in their foos. I couldnt be sure, but it tasted like chili powder in everything. Our service was slow and unattentive to our table of 4 .

Mehh. My second least favorite Mexican place in Knoxville. The pozole looked so good online.. it was okay.. the queso serving is extremely bland and small considering its $5 but whatever - I just don’t understand how any “authentic” Mexican restaurant uses the seemingly store bought chips that they serve.. chipotle would have been better.. and also given me more queso .. - but I want to say that I didn’t come here for queso. I came for pozole, which again.. was very disappointing, but understandable how it could not be to one’s liking, especially someone who just moved here from living in miami for 8 years and south Florida my entire life. .. I just don’t understand how anyone messes up queso and chips.

We got the veggie fajitas, which were really good! The service was great as well. It's a small place, but seemed to do well enough. Lots of takeout orders. The bar seemed very limited, but I didn't drink. There was wine, beer, and margaritas, along with a few other drinks listed. A great little neighborhood restaurant. Definitely recommend.

So we went here because country and Don was full and busy and since all the Mexican in west Knoxville is good we assumed this would be just as good. Not the case at all! Food was very generic with no seasonings. Worse Margarita’s I’ve ever seen and everything was just bland! I have zero idea how this place is busy?!? Customer service was great and place was clean but honestly.. eating here actually ruined my Friday night.

Dietary restrictions: My granddaughter has egg allergy and while we don't anything that's problematic, most of the servers and the owner always make sure to confirm that they've taken special care to avoid any cross contamination.

Best place to go for taco Tuesdays. Gone there like 30 times now. Carnitas, carne asada, and chorizo tacos for less than 10 bucks. They are to die for. And all the folks that work there are great.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The brought out chips and salsa which was good. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp which was delicious. Our server was very polite and attentive. They also have a punch card that would come in handy if you live on this side of town. Overall, it was a great experience.
