It's a small and outdated place that seems to do most of its business through carryout and delivery. However, don't let that fool you. The food I have gotten is always great tasting, portions are very generous and everything always tastes so fresh

Boxes piled in the dining room, trays of drinks stacked on portable shelving in the dining room. Not a very welcoming site, did not encourage us to stay.

The Moo goo guy pan. Probably spelling it wrong but it was fresh and very good. The young lady that took my order was very nice and pleasant person. I have been going there for over a decade and found out it is now family owned. Better than it was.

I should have read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered off of doordash. The rice was extremely hard like it was hardly cooked. The shrimp egg roll tasted old, very soggy, and salty. The portions were very small, more like a kids meal. How can they be called Rice King but can't even make rice? The worst Chinese food I've ever had. I called to let them know and they just sat on the phone repeating "what, what you want?" And I know they understood me!

I ordered through doordash tonight. My veggie chow mein came with something extra, a staple. I found it with my first bite which hurt my tooth, but not a permanent issue, it's just sensitive now. I called to complain at the store, and no one spoke enough english to understand what was wrong. They need something to figure out what is wrong when a customer has a safety complaint. That is a metal object, very dangerous. The picture attached is where I put the staple back into the food to show its size. Again, I found it with my first bite.

So this is a takeout place and it’s really good. Especially in Farragut. Are you going to get warm bright service no, polite and quick service yes. There aren’t a lot of Chinese places on this side of town much less ones with good food. Rice King’s food is really good. I got egg foo yong last time and this time I got curry chicken and both were really tasty. Also inexpensive. You might be able to get better chinese food on the other side of town but for Farragut this place is a gem
