This was our first time trying Afgani food. It was delicious! We had the Rom bowl with beef and chicken and rice pudding. My son loved the presentation of the bread sealed bowl- he was surprised to find all of the rice and meat inside of the bread. The rice was cooked perfectly. Amazing flavors all around. Lovely service! Highly recommend!

I recently dined at Rom’s House, an Afghan food spot that also features Y’all Pizza, serving halal pizza. We met the incredible couple-chef duo, whose humility and warmth made the experience even better. I asked them to make their Philly chicken pizza spicy, and they tweaked it perfectly to my liking—it was absolutely scrumptious. We also ordered their chicken rice bowl and pakora fries, which was mildly spiced yet had flavor. So if you’re looking for great food and a relaxing spot to eat, followed by a walk downtown, I highly recommend this place! :)
