Rooster's Bar & Grill

Excellent dive bar typical bar food. I did not have wings but heard they are good. Pizza was good. Don't let a crowded parking lot fool you there is room. Recommend

Food was great! Cajun chicken sandwich was moist and breaded well. Piping hot when it came. Freshly cooked. Service was fast and friendly. Great fries and wings as well!

I went for lunch today and ordered the hot dog platter. When it came out I had to do a double take. There were two dried up hot dogs on buns and that's it. No chili, no onions, no nothing. If you want anything else you have to pay extra. Keep in mind that two hot dogs costs $12. In the past they were covered in chili and onions. They have to have the most expensive hot dogs in Knoxville. I hope they enjoyed the $12 cause that's the last penny I'll ever spend there.

Never had an issue here until tonight..
Very unprofessional. I had to approach the bartender after 45 minutes of being ignored as I watched her going from every table beside of me but ours to where I knew it was a personal issue. She approached every table next to me multiple times and completely ignored ours. I confronted her and she basically said it was due to me and one of her friends not getting along.

Rooster's is a great place we eat there at least 3 times a week for lunch. Best pizza and Cubans in town. We have always had a great experience, even if it's to go food.

The absolute best bartenders in town!! Love Hannah and Sarah always getting our drinks as we walk in the door!! The staff is excellent at handling the volume of people especially on Vol game days. Always be our favorite neighborhood place.

Seriously the best bar in Knoxville! The bartenders Hannah, KK, Wes and Raf go out of their way 100% for their customers! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is a great time! Everyone makes you feel like home the moment you walk in! Smoking and nonsmoking area give everyone a place to fit in! Couldn’t recommend this bar more! You’re missing out if you haven’t been to roosters!!

They need to advertise it’s only 21 and over. Wasted our time.

Me and coworkers ate there for the first time I got hamburger sliders and they were undercooked and my coworker got wings weren’t cook all the way.

Great food and service. One of few places to allow smoking which is not great but certainly my choice to enter.

Avoid chris at all costs seeing as how we bought 3 meals and 2 pitchers yet my wife can't sit at the table while I played golden tee. Would love for them to respond but they only like comments that don't point out how rude the bartenders are.

I’m new to the region and I’m told this spot is an institution. Great local hang out. Will be back.

Solid drinks. Better than average selection of food for “a bar”. Food and drinks come out quick. Good service from the staff… guessing they’re all pretty experienced.

Gets crowded fast and stays crowded

For those not aware…. Smoking IS allowed throughout the place…. I saw multiple tables of “chain smokers”….you will leave smelling of cigarettes. Careful consideration should be taken if you have health issues that are impacted by cigarette smoke
