Glad they finally closed! Dirty people working here!! They refused food!!

I don't trust any restaurant that you can't call because they have had their phone turned off. The only thing that you can do is place an order online. This seems very suspicious to me.

They had a lot of selection and the food was delicious, but I was disappointed that many of the things on their menu were not available. I also got there very shortly after opening and the floor was covered in food from the night before, so I'm not sure how high their cleanliness standards are

Its great more than i can ever eat

I went to the website and it apparently had an old menu, because when i got there they said it was an all you can eat place and each person was 25$. I stayed because i was wanting hotpot but i quickly realized how bad the quality of everything was. its also super shady That everything is frozen before you cook it instead of just refrigerated, and the fact that all of the tongs are shared and no food is labeled. I will never be going back and I'm so unhappy that it has a 4.6 score on google.

How One of the Best Sushi Places in Knoxville Overextended Themselves and Ultimately Everything Became Mediocre. Or: The Woman with a Slice of Cake Next to Uncooked Beef (delayed review from 2/2019) If you had asked me two years ago what the single-best All You Can Eat sushi location was in Knoxville, I would have said Sakura King without hesitation. The rules were simple like most To-Order AYCE sushi locations I've experienced: You start with one or two rolls. After those are finished, you order one or two from there. Please don't be wasteful for the sake of gluttony or that may be added to your tab. Then they closed for renovation. To add a sushi train. In complete honesty, this kind of piqued my interest since I had never seen one of those in practice and was sort of excited to see that happen in Knoxville. Reopen happened and while the novelty of it was nice, pretty much anything I wanted to eat was still on the menu. The train seemed mostly for things like California Rolls. Again, it's something I could completely understand: You ease a little off the kitchen making basic items by throwing things like that onto the train. Maybe you didn't want an entire order of pan-fried dumplings and just wanted a few: That's good use of a sushi train. I can't recall if the AYCE price went up a little after the installation of that, but if it did -- that's understandable. It's a novel experience and an upgrade like that isn't free. It was still a nice experience going there. Then they closed for a while to add hotpot to the table. And that's where things became complicated. In February (maybe things have gotten better since then), I went with my better half. Being from ATL/John's Creek, she was super familiar with hotpot but this was my first time. After needing some assistance getting my cooker up and working, we picked a broth and were directed to the food bar area / freezer. The fresh section of the bar consisted of some vegetables and kind of a miscellaneous selection of sauces. The freezer consisted of numerous cuts of chilled raw meat, many of them mislabeled. Also a selection of deserts were available in the cold bar. No sushi menu was provided so I'm not positive if the same delicious sushi is still available there as All You Can Eat. The sushi train now consisted mostly of things you could place into your hotpot -- but really the only primary things on there were eggs, general greens and a California roll here and there. The place where this becomes kind of horrifying was seeing how others were gathering their food on their plates. Twice I saw someone place something they had grabbed from the desert portion of the cold bar, walk to the chilled meat portion and then place the uncooked meat directly next to -- or touching -- their dessert. Should any reasonably individual know not to do that? Sure. Should the patron be responsible for retaining that knowledge at the upcharge price since the installation of hotpot? Seems like a stretch. Also provided were the cooking charts for how long you should cook things in your hotpot. Problematically, more than half of the items listed on the chart were not available from the cold bar or available on the sushi train (no corn, no potatoes, no taro root, crab). The bottom line here is that this used to be the single-best AYCE sushi place in Knoxville. There aren't a ton of them and the previous Only Show in Town, Makino, more or less dive-bombed over the years. This was superb sushi: From the cuts of fish to using the perfect combo of sauce and chili. The servers were (and still are) friendly and prompt. And I only got a bad look once when I was on a binge of sushi coming back from a trip where I didn't eat a lot. That isn't a bash on them: I was voracious. But every time this establishment has closed and reopened with a new gimmick, it's been at a double-edged price: Both in terms of quality of food and in terms of upcharge due to having somethin

To be honest, this was a disappointed experience dine in here. Some of my Chinese classmates suggest us to try Chinese food hot pot. Many friends say it is delicious and it worth tring. We searched for hot pot restaurants in this location when we pass through this city.Sakura Hot Pot get4.8?,so we choose it.However,it's not really worth. Less choices.Small blue crab, black mussel, green mussel, shrimp head on and shrimp no head. That’s all seafood and all them were frozen!About based soup,it has no tasty.$24.95 per person for dinner hot pot buffet include drink(we got drink by ourselves)Severs just brought us based soup and took plates.I can understand it because this is buffet. But I really don't understand how could they suggest us to give from18% to 25% tips!the service isn't worth 18%-25%. And I didn't see their uniform. No black/white shirt instead of that was a green/gray coat.I gave 2? for a lady and a guy who care our table. They were friendly.

We had a good experience at Sakura King. We were seated immediately and the staff was friendly. The sushi was fresh and reasonably priced. Great beverage selection! Can't wait to try the hotpot when we go back.

Ate here last night and it was great! The young man that greeted us at the door was great at explaining how everything worked. Amazing selection of meats and seafood. $25 per head, including fountain drinks. Some may say it's expensive, but for the quality and the quantity it's great value!

Delicious. Food was a good deal for the price. I loved that each guest has their own pot. Friendly staff. Carpet was a bit sticky in certain areas, still five stars.
