Some of the best food in Knoxville. Hasn’t changed in 25 yrs. Gunsmoke on the TV. Cash only. The Volburger is the real deal, but so is the rest of the menu.

Love the atmosphere here. The vibe is awesome, they have quick service. Great quality food, just all around great fun place.If you haven't checked it out, go there because you're missing out!!! If you like onion rings Get them. Best we've ever had!

Loved our experience at Sam and Andy's! We had the Philly cheese steak and the bacon burger with fries. It was all served hot and fresh. Everyone was friendly and service was fast. We will be visiting again!

I will give 3 stars only for the experience and the old way this restaurant operates. I like seeing people writing checks for $15 lunch. I find it funny 😄 but the food is not good. And to be more specific, the VOL Burger wasn’t good.

This rating mainly concerns the food. In a nutshell, worth the visit and I will go back. If you read the reviews, it goes without saying that the service and atmosphere are wonderful. If you didn’t know already, this play is cash/check only with an ATM inside.

Food I’ve tried so far:

-Vol burger: Huge portion sizes! I eat more than I should, and I was extremely satisfied with the flavor and portion size.
-Onion rings: hand breaded and done well.
-Ranch dressing: made in house. Awesome and not too much mayonnaise flavor

This will always be my Sam and Andy's. Growing up i went to the one on Chapman and the one in the mall. But this one will always be my favorite.

Food is top tier, incredible. It is a little weird champ to be cash only and charge me extra for using the atm. But when you got food like this... I mean you can get away with anything really.
