The food wasn't good! The rice didn't look like normal rice and the Pot Stickers were horrible like they'd been there for a long time. Dried out edges that weren't edible. Won't go back. Wasted $33.

I used Grubhub to order from here and they acted so Inconvenienced and confused by my order. They didn't even know about it when I arrived at the time it should have already been done. They prepared and cooked other people's orders that came up in line after me while I waited. Multiple other people ordered, paid, got their food and left and they hadn't even put any food on the grill for my order. When yet another person arrived and they got served before me I told them I would like to cancel and they said no. What a way to treat a potential customer?I had to call grubhub and wait with elevator music, while they cooked other people's orders right un front of me.

Just wanted a little hibachi, the lady taking the orders would not listen, rang me up wrong 3 times, the dude cooking came out of the back a few minutes after I waited and threw some meat from a random dish that was not being warmed on the grill for 10 seconds and boom, crappy Japanese food with a horrible attitude. Not asking for Wasabi type food, but at least try.

I'm giving Sarku Japan 3/5 stars based on my recent visit. While the food was tasty, I couldn't help but feel disappointed with the portion sizes, particularly when ordering the "double meat" option.On the positive side, the flavors were enjoyable, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, the limited portion size somewhat affected the overall value for money.If you're looking for a quick and flavorful bite, Sarku Japan may suffice, but I would advise against expecting generous portions, especially when opting for the "double meat" choice.

Quality used to be great, but recently it seems prices have gone way up and food quality have gone down. We ate there and ordered white rice, we got really hard chewy rice, so hard it could not be chewed. Will not eat here again, there's several great alternatives.

Decided to stop here on vacation. Loved this place back home. We ordered double chicken, and to me, the serving size is definitely small. A little pricey for the price of so-called double meat.

I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp teriyaki from here. I had to use Doordash because I was at work. But when my order arrived there was barely any chicken and I didn't even receive the shrimp. I paid $12.50 for this. I am nor happy. And I tried calling multiple times, it would ring then you could tell the call was being declined.
