Food is usually good and on point. During my last visit the scrambled eggs I ordered were off in taste and texture. It had all the signs of potentially being liquid eggs that were overcooked. The texture was mushy and the taste was terrible like what you would get at a breakfast buffet. I really hope that you are not substituting liquid eggs in some of your dishes in response to increasing egg prices as this practice does not align with your menu prices.

The place is AWESOME! I love the look of it and their food presentation was great! I love cinnamon rolls and had heard great things about theirs but the one that we had on a Monday felt like it was left over from a Sunday.

So excited to bring my family eat this morning as this was one of my favorite places to eat. I put in a reservation for 6 people and had a 90 minute wait per their waiting list. When I checked in with the host I was told they were just waiting for tables to get cleaned. So of course I took that as me getting seated pretty soon. We waited over an hour and asked 4 different times when we would get seated and each time were told we were waiting on tables to get clean. Finally another staff member informed me the owner came in and took 2 of their big tables to seat their family members so that made our wait even longer. Had they told me this was the case I would have left a long time ago and not wasted my time. Would still have considered coming back another day, but at this point it's not even worth it when you patiently wait and you keep getting stringed along so that you will keep waiting. By the end of it all we had waited 2.5 hours.

They Removed us from the waitlist after waiting over an hour. And then tried to put us at the bottom of the list again after messing that up. We were looking forward to trying for the first time but that’s completely Unacceptable. 0/10 wont recommend.
This place was not our cup of tea. The prices were kind of pricey for food that was not up our alley. Not to mention they charged us for toast separately instead of just including it with the price of the omelet. Charging separate for toast when it could be included within breakfast seemed tacky. We will not be back.

Did brunch at Scrambled Jake's. Great Bloody Mary's. The food was okay, but the portions were small for the price paid.

The food is usually pretty good. However, I couldn't confirm that this time. We got there today just before 9:30, gave my name and phone number, they said it'd be about a 30-40 minute wait. Ok, fine. 45 minutes go by, still haven't gotten a text, so I go in to check where we were in line. The hostess asks for my name, can't find me on the list. Asks for my phone number again, presumably to look me up, tells me it'll be a 20 minute wait AND I just got a text saying I was added to the wait list... which I hadn't gotten 45 minutes prior.
This means the restaurant never actually added me to the list the first time, and instead of owning their mistake (hey, mistakes happen), decides I need to wait even longer while larger parties who came in AFTER me got seated? That's just horrible customer service. I may go back at some point, but Scrambled Jake's will no longer be near the top of my list for breakfast.
Editing to add:
AFTER telling me it'd be 20 more minutes, at most, I finally got the text that my table was almost ready OVER AN HOUR later! See attached screenshot. This is terrible service on top of terrible service!
Very busy place, but food and service were very good overall

I had a good, southern style two eggs breakfast with bacon and a country style biscuit. Their coffee is quite good and adult beverages are available.
Parking: It is a popular, somewhat family style restaurant. Parking can be tight, but convenient.
Kid-friendliness: It is fine with children.

While traveling we saw reviews of “best breakfast in Knoxville”. Menu seemed appetizing. Waitress nice but not very attentive. Breakfast burrito had a hair on it which was taken off ticket. “Creamy grits” were from the bottom of the pot with some scorched pieces and stiff. Lox and toast had 3 slivers of pickled onion and 2 pieces of tomato confit. Glad to try but would not return nor recommend.

Came in the morning. Place was full. Waited to be seated and then was totally ignored by wait staff. They were too busy chatting with hostess to acknowledge we were seated. After waiting 15 minutes more we followed 3 couples out who were there before and got frustrated with service. They were not short staffed.

Food was delicious and portions were huge. Server was very pleasant and knowledgeable, but understaffing led to spotty service.

It was good but not great. I had the all-in omelet and it was nothing special.

We tried to go with the line was huge! I assume this is a great place because of the long wait. Too bad we didn’t get to go in. Next time!
