Love this place! The Eddie Special is one of the best dishes you can eat in Knoxville! It's not meant to be fancy, just very tasty. I don't know what the deal is with the few people saying the food is bland. Their taste buds are off or they don't know what Japanese food tastes like. As for the person complaining about not getting a fortune cookie, this is Japanese, not Chinese.
After driving 5 hours, I pulled up to find they’re only doing takeout orders. Last thing I want to do is wait in my car and eat in my car after being in my car for 5hrs.I’ll probably just go to the Birmingham location from now on.
Delicious Knoxville staple. I recommend it highly. The Eddie Special and homemade ginger ale are delicious. It’s takeout right now, so if you’re passing through town, call ahead and go check out a local park. This has been a favorite for years.
