Wife and I got into town after a pretty awful travel experience where we were both awake for about 40 straight hours. We were both pretty hungry and we decided to go for indian. She found this place and a pretty good reviews and reasonable drive let us there.
This is probably the loudest restaurant that we've been in in years. People are yelling and you know what happens when one group is talking really loud the next group starts talking even louder and so on. It was terrible.
The buffet had a little bit of variety but it wasn't huge. There were certainly enough vegetarian options and since we both ate vegetarian that's worked out well. The spice and flavor levels were lacking. I wouldn't even call them average. Surprisingly the only spicy chutney was just hot sauce. The onion chutney was below average. I usually love onion chutney. The service was attentive...they filled water quickly. The prices was reasonable.

Best lunch buffet in Knoxville. They serve fresh and hot naans at table. Service was good and food was delicious. Highly recommend in Knoxville area and it is on the way to Chattanooga/Atlanta.

Though they serve Indian food, the food doesn’t taste as Indian as it should be. I have been to other sitar restaurants across the country and never had such an experience. I wonder who are those 2.5k customers that have this restaurant 4.5 stars. They should have eaten at a better Indian restaurant. It still something that you want to eat if you are in the Knoxville area.

Customer service unsatisfied and none of the employee response on time, we have to wait 30 min to get only 2 items, also we order couple items everything is test less.
Worst Biryanis ever had ! It’s not even call veg pulao. Rice just tossed with spices. Please stay avay if your foodie

The most delicious Indian food in Knoxville. Our favorites are the matar paneer, chicken sagwala, karahai chicken, and the garlic naan is perfect. And their staff are absolutely delightful!
