After plans to visit Smash City continued to fall through, I finally made it for the first time Friday afternoon. I came by at 2 something so it was an odd time and no one else was there. Let me start by saying that the double fried fries here are THE BEST I’ve ever had! I’ve lived on both coasts and now the Knox area, am a chubby MF’er who loves the best burgers and fries in the world and look folks, this is the spot! Seriously folks, when I had the fries and the smash burger here, I was trying to contain the unicorns and rainbows flying from every orifice! Definitely the BEST “smash” style burger too! Even the syrup mixture on the soda machine for the root beer was turned up to “painfully sweet”. Absolutely perfect!!! I WILL be back assuming the stent and quad bypass are successful. Lol (knock on wood). Don’t forget to bring change for the meters during the week!

The hamburger is the CLASSIC American food. Knoxville now has a locally owned tremendous provider of what truly sets the bar higher than any Knoxville restaurant . Their simplicity allows the restaurant to do a small number of products with exceptional results. It's the simplicity that lead In and Out to great success. These guys have mastered the burger... and raised the bar on French Fries.. Knoxville is now a friendly town that has a world class burger and all Galaxy fries.

Fantastic service! Excellent smashed buger & fries! Loved the Smash Rad Style. Will definitely be returning! Gluten free family & this was super tasty & easy to order! Gluten free buns were spot on! But the guy who took our orders & served our food was outstanding!

Our meals were so good, we didn't even think to take a picture until it was all gone ? Seriously though, we each had a different burger and couldn't decide whose was the best, because they were all fantastic. Crispy edges on the patties, everything well seasoned, the brioche-esque bun (like a pillow) and the smash sauce and caramelized onions took it to another level. The fries though - wow, best fries in the city hands down, no competition. I also got truffle mayo with my fries, which put them over the top, and I just had to leave a 5⭐ review! The staff was very polite and checked in on us during our meal, even though it's more of a "fast casual" type place and I wasn't expecting them to do that. Prices were very reasonable and the food was extremely good.Kid-friendliness: They have a customizable single party burger combo for kids.

The burger was good but whoever was cooking that day was extremely stingy with the grilled onions. I mean, fewer than 10 pieces of diced onion on the whole $18 burger. The fries were really good even once they got cold.
