Currently "IDK crabshack" run by three lovely ladies. Food wasn't bad at all, though the buttermilk waffles were tasteless husband loved the shrimp boil. I am pretty sure they smoke in the building when no one is there. It smelled so much like day-old cigarette smoke that I could taste it. We took our food out.

This is the location of the New IDK crab shack...it's small with less than ten tables and the food is made to order(not a fast food place)..Still getting into the routine of their food service the staff is friendly and knowledgable...my flounder with fries was yummy and my husband loved the chicken and shrimp alfredo..it's down home cooking and a great addition to the neighborhood..and the menu offers many choices!!

I have visited this location and had a good experience. I had the hamburger and fries with tea. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the dining area was clean and well stocked. My food was prepared well and fresh. Overall my experience was enjoyed and I recommend it for a burger or hotdogs.

Don't eat the hot dogs. They have forgotten them in the fryer overnight and fed them to customers the next day.

I went and had a hotdog very good and my girlfriend had a cheeseburger just like I remember. Guy in the front was very friendly I didn't catch his name. I'll definitely return!!!

Gotta be one of the worst hot-dogs in Knoxville, owners should be ashamed trying to ride on the reputation of the original Smokey Mountain Markets hot-dog . I wonder if they took a cold wiener and put it in a bun then microwaved it . Nasty!

We never even made it to the door, an overweight, very nasty looking woman smoking right in front of the door shook her head at us. It was very unprofessional, telling us they were closed for cleaning. Do you guys only clean once a week, because it still looked disgusting. We won't be returning or giving our business to a place that seems run by disgusting people, if you're going to represent a place like that you shouldn't look dirty. Makes me wonder how nasty the people who prepare the food are, a hotdog isn't worth getting food poisoning over. Your staff needs some training in decency, not only that but your company looks bad when you allow “workers” I use that term loosely, to smoke right in front of the main entrance. Nobody wants to walk through or smell cigarette smoke, I'm not a smoker and I'm not gonna start now.

I drove from Oak Ridge Tenn with my wife, son and grandchildren to enjoy the " Famous hot dogs today " Only to find the business closed. Yet Saturday night listing said " Open 12 noon Sunday. Ended up eating at Ruby Tuesday on Chapman highway. It's going to be difficult for me to come back. Then I checked the Web tonight to see that the time of opening has been changed. This is not a good way to build your customer base. The picture on the website is not the correct picture either. This killed my appetite 🚫🚫🚫.

Do not think you are going here to get the Smokey Mountain Hot-dog that you had growing up . This dog is a 1 out of possible 10. These are the cheapest hot-dog you can get at Gordens Food Service . I'm pretty sure all they do is put a cold wiener into the bun and microwave it. The amount of chili leaves you wondering if its got any at all. Comparing this hot-dog to the old Smokey Mountain Hot-dog is like compairing a Mercedes to a Yugo. Weigles on John Sevier Hwy. near Alcoa Hwy .has a way better dog.

Don't think I will be going back.

First time at new location and order was wrong and there was a puppy in a cage under the front counter! Location old Sam & Jerry's on Chapman Hwy. According to other reviews - I believe I did comment on the correct location.

Walked in, very dirty, hot. Has a full menu but only really has hamburger and hotdogs with different toppings. I believe this is a soft opening. I hope it gets better for the grand opening tomorrow. I'll let you know......

I'm a fan. The hot dogs are great and the prices are a lot better than most. I'm a bit of a hot dog addict, I could eat them everyday, and these are outstanding.

The hot dogs are nothing similar to the original Smokey Mountain Market. Don't know who started this rumor. So don't go and buy one and think it is going to satisfy your Smokey Mountain Market hot dog craving. When you hear someone pushing buttons on a microwave you know right then that it is not an original hot dog. I won't be buying any more.
