I had never had anything from Soccer Taco, and I started with something simple. A taco salad. The shell was nice, but it was mostly lettuce and sour cream. Served with the fattest whole slice of beefsteak tomato I have ever seen in my life. They didn't run out of tomato, just didn't feel like dicing anymore of them.

This is a great place to eat. If you’re wanting a great meal served by excellent servers while watching your favorite sports team this is the place. Great quality fresh Mexican food cooked just right. They have many items on the menu to choose from. The servers are friendly, fast and eager to serve you. I highly recommend Soccer Taco for quality Mexican food at a reasonable price!

The music was loud and obnoxious when I went in to pick up my order of steak chimichaunga; so loud I had trouble hearing the lady helping me. The lady helping me had trouble distinguishing between lemons and limes, for the limes I asked for were lemons, so they went in the trash. The food is mediocre, at best. This is only good if you've never had Mexican food. Go to Le Hurredura, or El Gerisol for soul food; food that will change you on a molecular level; food, that when you are eating it transports you to a land you've never been and love, then you come back as the meal ends. Soccer Taco is not that. It's a sports bar with poorly made tex-mex bar food... 🤷🏼♂️ I know better now. Maybe Not Watsons is better

Soccer taco has really gone downhill, used to be great. Food was bland (Mexican bland?!), service almost nonexistent, and the place was nearly empty. My wife's margarita was tiny and cost $8. Not what I remember it to be.

In my opinion, this is some of the best Mexican food in knoxville. Reasonable prices, huge portions, fresh delicious food. I drive across town for it and pass like 30 different Mexican restaurants to get here.
It was my daughter Birthday. So the whole family met to have dinner. BIG MISTAKE. Service was very slow.it wasn't like they were bussie. I got a Taco salad . It was terrible. It was like eating a soup bowl The lettuce was still wet.so that made the whole bowl wet and running. Had no taste. I will NEVER go back.

I’ve been here once before (months ago) & it was pretty good. I came back tonight and the customer service was definitely poor. I was willing to overlook that because the food is good….until I found hair in my food. Last picture is after I pulled it completely out of my taco. Unfortunately, the hair is enough to make me not come back here again.

We came here to eat yesterday as soon as we walked in the host barely greeted us she then takes us to our table we sit down and it’s past 5-10 minutes and a server hasn’t greeted us yet when the server finally gets to our table he doesn’t introduce himself he just asks us what we want to drink and if we’re ready to order we place our order and then our food comes out he doesn’t ask if we need anything else he just walks away. my dad accidentally spilled his drink we were trying to find our server to see if he could bring us something to wipe down the table it took our server around 5-10 minutes again to check on us and ask if we were doing okay obviously not. we asked him if he could bring us something to wipe down the table he goes and gets something he doesn’t even ask my dad if he wants a refill since his drink fell down he just asks us if we want boxes which we say no because our overall experience was just horrible with this server. I don’t write any bad reviews but this place was something else maybe it was just our server that ruined our experience. we normally take our food to go if we have leftovers but at this point we just wanted to leave.

This is our first time here. I ordered huevos con chorizo off the lunch menu. My wife got her usual chicken fajitas. The portions were quite generous, my huevos con chorizo seem to have more chorizo than eggs, which was good. Didn't even eat half of her fajitas. I have never seen her not finish her fajitas or at least asked for a box to take home. It was great that it's a Pepsi place, I'm a big big Diet Pepsi fan. Fan. The salsa was definitely hotter than the typical gringo salsa, the cheese dip was very good.
