Soccer taco is always a solid choice for Mexican in Knoxville. It's not the worst and it's not the best. I tried the al carbon salad on this last visit. It was okay, nothing to write home about, and would probably not get it again.

The food was very basic and bland. I was surprised they covered the tamale (part of the burrito combo meal) with the burrito sauce (ugh!). The good news is that it's quite inexpensive.

Worst experience I have had here. Took about 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. My Eagle Cheese Burrito was suppose to be a Flour Tortilla Stuffed with Steak, Peppers and Onions. The tortilla was basically laid on top, so everything fell out when I tried to eat it. Took forever to get refills. They are usually great here, but not today. I was looking forward to a nice meal on the patio on a gorgeous day, instead I couldn’t eat or keep anything cold to drinks since we were sat at a full sun table while shaded ones were available. They made me another one to go because I didn’t have time to eat it here. So I will have to warm it up at home and it won’t be as good. Oh well.

I got food poisoning from eating here. Will never go back. The ground beef tasted nothing like ground beef - it tasted like water and grease, and the beans were DRY and crumbly. I was so hungry that I ate it and never said anything, but got so incredibly sick later on. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else (or don’t order what I ordered)

One of the worst dinning experiences in the last 5 years. I ordered carne asada street tacos and the meat was cooked likely a day or two prior. The meat was not freshly cooked and had the texture of reheated meat although it was served cold. Mexican cuisine when fresh is a treat but when it is reheated and served to customers it should be a crime.
