“Usually Applebee's is a 5/5, but apparently not on Sundays. We have been going to Applebee's since I was a child. Ben, is the best bartender, hands down. When he is there, even when they are short staffed, the service, the atmosphere, and the experience is topnotch. The last few times I've been there on his day off shows me that the right person at the center is very important.“

“This is a nice locals bar. If you don’t go often, you do get looked at by the patron’s and workers with a why did you just come into my home glance, but after the awkward millisecond you feel comfortable. It is a smoking bar, so for those that don’t smoke, prepare yourself. Don’t ask for a non smoking section. If this is a problem for you, go home, us smokers want to keep at least one bar not banning it“

“The sum of all the parts here are what makes it worth a try. This marina location has been different names over the years, with different types of food, and I'm pretty sure I tried all of them. This iteration seems to be more fitting for this area than some of the past places. I, unlike many it seems, thought that there was actually pretty good value for what you pay for here. Another thing that was noticed is how solidly executed everything was: nothing was necessarily spectacular but everything we ordered was tasty and worth trying again. Service was cheerful and sufficiently attentive.“

You will not wait long for your food, and it will be hot and tasty. However, it is the normal-tasting Tex-Mex food you will find in most places. There area really no 1, 2 or 3 signature dishes -- at last not in my experinece. My experiences with service are good.“

“My 9yo daughter wanted Double Dogs for her birthday. While they told me they don’t take reservations, they said they would do their best to prepare for us. We showed up with 30 people. They got us seated quickly with best accommodations that they could for a large party. The waitress and the manager took great care of us. We didn’t wait long for food or anything. (I will say we picked a Sunday night to avoid some of the crowd). We’ve went plenty of places with this big crowd, but the experience this time at DD was one of the best!“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. My wife and I came here for a simple game of pool, our plan was to go to Gypsy Tap House afterward for food and Ale. However, the atmosphere, friendly vibes and all around awesome establishment trapped us here, much to our Delight. We got the chicken wings, while not Wingstop or other Eatery specific perfection they were good. This was a perfect bar/ pool hall atmosphere. With a Cool vibe and awesome staff. And do not think that my criticism of the food is a disparity, in fact it was more than adequate. We look forward to many more visits for games of pool, good food and good service at this awesome establishment. It was just blocksaway from the old city but held none of that smarmy vibe. An all-around good place that I would advise to anyone who's looking for a good bar, good game of pool, some good food and good vibes.“

Not one of them was fat so there was no fridge to protect the snacks. I don't know if they have a policy but it seemed like they didn't let in less than a seven out of ten and no A cups.

Never the less we are hardcore so we managed to have a good night.

Please attend on a WEDNESDAY night with caution. And DO NOT video call you wife whilst here or even near.
