We went as a family of 5 adults and 1 kid who is 6-years-old. Our table was ready when we arrived, as a reservation was made. Appetizers were quick to come and consisted of vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay skewers, and various. All good. Entrees were plentiful and there were ample options for the vegetarian in our group. Everyone liked that we could pick our protein, instead of being limited by a preset menu. Will be going back

I rarely leave reviews but I feel obligated to because it felt like a fixable issue. We ordered two soups: the Kow Pek and the Meekatee, dinner sized. The Kow Pek's noodles were a bit lacking and already bloated. But they both tasted good. They just had one enormous flaw: they were VERY salty. And I enjoy salty food. For reference, a pack of Shin Ramen has like 1800mg of Sodium, at around 80% of your daily intake, right? Both soups we ordered were saltier than that, and much larger. So I imagine it would be over 200% of your recommended daily intake if you consumed the entire thing. We had about 1/5th of the bowl before we had to tap out. It was genuinely the saltiest soup I've had in my life. I'm not sure if it was an issue with just today; maybe there was an error in the kitchen. I'm not upset. Our server kindly put the soups in containers for us to take home and we will enjoy them in smaller, diluted quantities. I just hope that the recipes or quality control is reevaluated for the future.
Edit: We both ended up getting upset stomachs after eating there that day....so maybe I am upset

Seats and tables are like an inch from each other. Its very uncomfortable being right beside total strangers where you can hear their convos. I like my personal bubble respected. I am a big fan of pho, but sadly this place had the most bland pho I have ever had. Normally you can customize the spiciness of your soup with table sides toppings, but they bring the toppings out with the pho and the portions are quite skimpy. Its annoying to have to waive down a waitress for more spice/sauce. I got the large pho with the beef. The beef was quite fatty with an unpleasant texture. Overall very large plain bowl of soup, rather than the savory experience I had come to expect. Wouldn't come back or recommend.

Food is wonderful! Restaurant was crowded with tables very close together and hot with many bodies. It's frequently crowded, which speaks to the delicious food.

This places offers many good Lao and Isan dishes. Our party included two friends who wished to taste Lao food for the first time. We began with fried quail and Lao style sausage. After that we shared pork larb, a dry vermicelli bowl and lao sandwich. Every dish was excellent. Extra lettuce leaves were provided when we decided to eat the larb in leaf rolled style. The staff seemed happy though house was full. This is an excellent restaurant.
Always good! Always friendly!
I had the green curry with beef and it was delicious. Spicy as hell but wonderfully tasty!

When we arrived it was bustling. Still, we had our food in about fifteen minutes after arriving. The panang and yellow curry we had were truly excellent and prepared as asked (I wanted the panang made spicy.) The ingredients were fresh, the sticky rice she ordered was delicious, my steamed rice was great. The ice tea was a perfect complement.
The star of the experience was the staff. To a person, they were friendly, mindful, cordial, and clearly enjoying being there. We met the proprietor and she was very friendly and engaging.
I would recommend this to anyone.

We had a good experience.
The restaurant was packed at 2pm on a random Tuesday, fortunately we didn’t have to wait for a table.
We tried a bunch of dishes, the most tasty to me was the crispy rice, Laos style papaya salad and the pork chops.
The house mom’s sauce was delicious with the steamy hot sticky rice!

I have been a customer since they were in the smaller location. Coming to Knoxville this place gave me hope there was actually good food in this city. Unfortunately, lately it has been very inconsistent. I often get the pork laab, and last Friday it was spicy and flavorful as I love it. On Monday I ordered it for takeout and it was full of only fatty meat and had no spice/flavor at all.
Consistency is one of the best things a restaurant can have. I hope I just had bad luck this week.
