Had only been here once before years ago and decided to come for lunch the other day. Food was very good flavor wise but everything was very heavy tasting - seems like they use a ton of butter and oil on everything. Service was fine, the greasy food was just not my style.

Amazing menu with so many delicious dishes. Wonderful service during brunch. I'm really confused why the ladies bathroom doesn't have a hook or any place to hang your purse. I hope they'll invest in this -$10 greatly needed item before I come back to visit!

Corey was very accommodating. He is a great bartender and server. Also, the food and drinks here were absolutely worth the cost. Thanks!

This is a beautiful place with absolutely delicious food. Today was my first visit and I ordered the Local Burger with a side of Brussel sprouts with roasted almond. I always try a restaurant's burger first. This one is now my top burger and side pick of every restaurant I've ever visited. I ordered the burger medium rare and not only did it come as ordered but it was the juiciest and most delicious burger I've ever eaten (I don't yet know what sauces or herbs and spices they used with the meat, but it was amazing). The same goes for the brussel sprouts with roasted almond; texture, taste and temperature were perfect in my book. The texture was melt in your mouth, the taste was amazing due to whatever sauces, etc they cooked them in and the temperature was the perfect warmth for a tasty side that was so elegant you might mistake it for an entree. The service was an excellent team oriented environment with the waiter visiting the table frequently, but not too frequently. Yum!!!

We had planned a birthday dinner for my friend at sunspot and were told by the hosts that we would be able to call ahead for a table. After calling ahead and getting to Sunspot, we were told that the kitchen equipment “broke” and that we wouldn’t be able to get any food. We were willing to still sit at our table and order drinks but we’re told that they didn’t have a table for us either. I had called 30 minutes prior to confirm that they had a table for us, yet we were met with no table when we arrived. The manager was extremely rude and basically told us that we were out of luck. That was a horrible experience considering that we usually love Sunspot and would have given them great service tonight. We were turned away and experienced horrible service tonight when we had planned a great night for my friends birthday.

A Knoxville classic! I used to frequent the ‘old’ Sunspot many years ago. This location serves elevated fare that should be highly considered should you find yourself on the ‘strip.’ The only downside is the constant construction that leads to congestion and the limited parking behind the building. Certainly not the establishments fault, but something to consider when evaluating a good meeting spot that involves multiple vehicles.

I arrived at 1pm I was told it would be a 30 minute wait as I was waiting people kept getting seated ahead of me. My waiter told me my food was sitting out at 2:30 it’s 2:45 and my food hasn’t been delivered yet.. Terrible!!!
