This is a hidden gem.You order at the counter, it’s a simple small restaurant that has delicious authentic thai food. We got some classics: the fried rice, spring rolls, Pad gra pao and the shrimp tempura. All of these dishes were so so good. The staff is super friendly, we loved it all.

My new favorite place to eat! So delicious! The pad tai is my favorite, but everything else I have tried is just as tastey! Love that we finally have an actual restaurant in south knox besides fast food!

Fantastic food!! I think I have enjoyed just about everything I've ever ordered from the menu, but their curries are my favorite. Simple, comforting, extremely fresh. Dumplings are also phenomenally crispy. Service is always prompt and kind, ordering is easy, and quality has been totally consistent. Thai Time really fills a void in this area of Chapman Highway. As patrons of the former Kay's, it's great to have a casual yet satisfying neighborhood spot here in South Knoxville.

After spending time in Thailand I can say with confidence that this is the only authentic Thai food not just in Knoxville, but that I've found on this side of the U.S. It's small. It's not posh. They have ice cream. Basically, they feel like every restaurant in Thailand that I experienced that wasn't a tourist trap. The food is fantastic, and they offer items that I've never seen in the States, but were commonly enjoyed in Thailand. The staff is genuinely kind and polite and quick to recognize repeat visitors. I've always felt welcome. My favorite restaurant in Knoxville, hands down.

One of our favorite Thai places! We love their drunken noodles, crab rangoon and Thai tea, but haven’t had a bad dish so far. The kid’s fried rice is my son’s favorite and is very generous in portion (which is good because I often steal some of it from him). South Knox is really lucky to have a delicious, authentic Thai spot.

Thai Time is the best Thai restaurant in Knoxville, with the most diverse, delicious menu, hands down. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are very friendly. Id highly recommend the pad thai, pad see ewe, pad gra pao, and the khao man gai thod.Vegetarian options: The offerings can be made with tofu, a vegetable medley, or plain (no protein or extra veggies). However, if you're looking for vegan options, it would be best to ask the staff, because I believe some of the dishes utilize fish sauce and similar ingredients.Parking: There is a relatively spacious parking lot in the front of restaurant, and more around the side. I've never come across issues with parking.

Truly one of my favorite places that my family and I go to! Jay and his team are truly the best and I adore all the workers there! They are truly like our family! They have gluten free options & we appreciate them taking their time to prepare it differently, but just as delicious as everything else! They have amazing food to match their awesome service! Keep doing what you’re doing Jay & team!! We love yall!!!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options!!!Kid-friendliness: Jay and my daughter are best friends!!! She always says “I want to go see Jay at Thai Time!!” When we pass!

Every time I come here the parking lot is full of litter, the tacky Christmas lights are still up, and the place is in need of a serious facelift overall. Try to make your establishment look nicer if you are going to charge the high prices that you do. Please pass along my review to the owner of the building since Im sure you will blame them for everything mentioned.
