This is by far my favorite donut shop, went in this morning and a family was ordering in front of me. After they finished the guy never gave me a glance or said a word, just went to the back. I waited a couple minutes but he never came out so I left. Disappointing because I’ve been looking forward to those donuts all week. I won’t be back.

They have truly excellent donuts. I purchase a dozen monthly to take to my staff meeting and they're always a hit. I don't even worry about what flavors they've made that day, I just get assorted. The selection is always pretty wide. I'm convinced that there's something for everybody. Their maple bacon options are next tier. When those are available, I always get extra.

Hats off to a great crew. Placed a order last week for 5 dozen of donuts to be picked up on the 11th at 7:30am for a meeting at 8:30. When I walked in I could smell them and the young gentleman said it would be about 5 minutes and the rest would be ready. Great donuts price was great and everyone asked where I got them from. Note I drove in from Virginia for this meeting. If you haven't been to the donut shop your missing out. Thank you a 1000% times over. You guys rock.

Best donuts in knoxville. They have classic flavors like jelly, chocolate glazed, and apple fritters, as well as gourmet flavors like honey lavender or salted caramel. I got a cold brew, water bottle, and donut all for $9 after tip.

I came by early (about 1 minute after they opened) to pick up donuts for myself and my coworkers during an early meeting. The staff member who assisted me apologized they did not have a couple flavors ready yet but there was a huge selection available. I was so impressed by the selection and the donuts were all delicious! My coworkers all agreed the yeast ring salted caramel was our favorite, it was so buttery and fluffy. But we also all loved the old fashioned donuts. Wonderful flavor and a nice bit of crispness. Everyone loved the lemon glazed and the chocolate, but my favorite was the churro. A must try for sure. I'm already planning to come back with my husband Saturday!
Parking: Early in the morning I had no trouble parking on the street next to the building. It is free 1 hour parking.

When The Donut Shop first opened it was our favorite donut place - nothing but rave reviews. I'm not sure what's happened in the past couple of months but we won't be going back. Limited selection unless you order ahead (we always go in the AM). One time we went and they were closed (during normal hours), another visit the employee working saw us and came running from down the street to let us in. The quality of the donuts during our most recent visit (June) was subpar. The majority of donuts were cake donuts instead of yeast and the yeast donuts they had looked pitiful, the employee working even said he wasn't sure when I asked if a donut was yeast or cake (because they looked the same). We ended up throwing 2 donuts away because we just didn't like them. Like I said - this used to be a FAVORITE - but something has changed in the past few months. Hopefully they can turn it around.
