My husband and I were there at 7:15 on a Saturday morning. There were other customers, but it was quiet - no noise problems that others have mentioned. The food was delicious! The grits were cheesy and the biscuit was warm and fluffy. The cranberry apple butter was delicious. My husband got the breakfast burrito, which had some of the restaurant's signature ingredients inside. I tried a bite and thought it was delicious. There is something for everyone on the menu.
We will definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Flying Biscuit – Knoxville, TN
Today was my husband’s birthday, and I decided to take him somewhere different from the usual places we normally go. We chose The Flying Biscuit, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly young gentleman named TJ and welcomed with a warm, energetic hug from the owner. The atmosphere was amazing—so inviting, cozy, and full of good energy.
Our waitress, Dasha, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made sure our first experience was perfect. I also loved that the menu included vegetarian and vegan options, which is a huge plus. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous—my husband and I shared a meal and still had leftovers to take home.
We ordered the High Flyer Breakfast with a waffle and added an extra pancake. My husband was thrilled that they offered turkey and chicken sausage options. The food was absolutely delicious—honestly, the best breakfast we’ve had in Knoxville so far!
What really made it special was the owner’s genuine interaction with customers. You can tell they truly care about creating a welcoming, family-style atmosphere.
If you haven’t tried The Flying Biscuit yet, I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed! We’re already planning our next visit.

Great place right here! Eclectic menu with wide ranging options. I got the shrimp and grits that was probably top 3 ever had. Great spot for late breakfast/early lunch or brunch. Would recommend

Had a great breakfast at Flying Biscuit! Food was hot, fresh, and cooked well. Biscuit was the best I've had in Knoxville! Grits are AMAZING! Kristin was our server, and she was the sweetest! Highly recommend - even if the wait is long, they move quickly!

I came here this morning with my daughter and it was phenomenal! I found the cafe a few weeks ago when I needed to kill some time and I’m so glad I did. Eggs Benedict is my favorite meal ever and theirs is perfection!! My daughter got the kids pancake and we got to try some beignets which were delicious. The staff has been great both times we’ve been and the owner is super nice. We own a small diner in Oak Ridge so supporting locally owned places is important to us and this will be our new go to breakfast place!

We tried Flying Biscuit for the first time today and it was great! The server was super friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good, we had no complaints! I would also say it’s a fairly typical price. I’d love to go back with a group to try some of the drinks. We will be back!

I'll start by saying our server Moxie (I hope I spelled that right), was awesome! He was on top of everything! It's my husband's birthday today, but we celebrated yesterday and he chose The Flying Biscuit as his birthday meal choice...we were SO happy!! The food was amazing! I wish we had taken pictures...I had the Freebird Benedict, which was with fried chicken tenders, poached eggs, and chicken gravy, on an open biscuit, and a cappuccino...YUM! My husband had the Big Daddy burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed, but let's shine a spotlight on the parmesan truffle fries! Absolute perfection! We will, without a doubt, go back! We're looking forward to it already!!🩷

We stopped by for breakfast last week and the owner/manager greeted us and introduced himself. Very welcoming! Our server was wonderful. Food was all delicious! Breakfast Burrito, Avocado Toast with Eggs and pancakes were spectacular! Also had one of the best cappuccinos that I’ve ever had and it came in a nice large coffee cup. We will go back again soon!
