White guy with a bucket hat about 5’6 rejected my actual 21 year old id because my shoe accidentally hit the exit door. I usually love this place but he ruined it for me. He was screaming at me asking for my id even though I wasn’t in the front of the line, just to deny it, but he realized it was real and he rejected it. Horrible people, horrible place.

I recently moved to Tennessee and this was my very first time trying to go into The Half Barrel. I was standing in line, sober, waiting my turn to get in. I politely asked the bouncer how long the line would be, and he immediately yelled at me to “hold on.” I made a face because I didn’t understand why I was being yelled at for asking a simple question. He got angry and told the other bouncer not to let me in.
I walked over to the second bouncer to ask what I did wrong, and even he admitted the other guy was being dramatic. When I tried to speak to the manager about the issue, the same bouncer came back, pushed me toward a trash can, and then actually picked me up and threw me onto the concrete. I broke my foot on impact and couldn’t even get up. Nobody offered to help.
I called the police, but when Knoxville PD arrived, they dismissed me, laughed, and took the bouncers side after he lied about the situation. They didn’t even file a report. The next morning, when I called back to get the names of the officers, I was told nothing could be done since no report was made. My attempts to message the department and bar have gone unanswered.
This place caused me a serious injury, assaulted me when I tried to talk to management, and treated me like a joke. The lack of accountability from both the bar and local police is unacceptable.

Guy with a bandana and goatee was the biggest jerk. Was rude to me and my friends, didn’t even look me in the eye and was mad I didn’t tip bigger. Poured me half of a drink and said, “enjoy this, that’s the last you’re gonna get.” Has personality issues and huge ego problems. Guy doesn’t need to be working in customer service.

The white shirt bar tendered (young and in twenties burnett) ignored my request and just walked away and was super rude. They took my friends jacket and gave to a bar tender to use who wore it the next night. The bouncers are super rude and wouldn’t answer my questions.
I came here because of a six minute video some homophone took of two guys kissing each other (on Twitter). Gotta support when I see businesses be LGBT-friendly. You can slightly work on the food though ;)

Walked in to celebrate daughter with family. Spent $65 on drinks. Mistakenly spilled a drink while handing to someone. Asked for another drink to be made only to be told I’d be charged for it because I didn’t tip enough. Tipped 18%. Never in my life have I been told that. Horrible - money hungry and zero customer service.
