Pretty happening place with a reasonable selection of beers and spirits. Lot of university students.

The food is pretty mediocre, even on their best day, and I've been there when it was downright inedible. The service is totally hit or miss. I've had good service, and I e had some of the worst. The dive nature is the only redeeming quality, but the undergrads ruin that a lot of the time too. Last resort IMO

Logan is amazing. Logan took amazing care of us and made sure we were okay at all times. Our drinks remained full, super friendly and even queued the songs we asked for. Highly recommend. Ask for LOGAN!

Me and my friends are taking a class at UT and wanted to come downtown and this place wouldn't let us in. We are all over 21 but from a bunch off different states. Please teach the bouncer what different ID's look like

Bartender and bouncer are very misogynistic. They literally assaulted multiple NCAA athletes- young women by throwing chunks of ice at them. Hit at least 2 directly in the eyes- they swelled shut and were bleeding. Then the bartender served them all 30 shots knowing he'd done something really bad. When one of the young women approached him to tell him her friends eye was hurt and bleeding, he screamed obscenities at her calling her a f***ing c u n t and roaring at her to get the f*** out. Physical and verbal assault with lots of witnesses. They should be closed down- from other reviews it sounds pretty standard. Do not support this business.

The service is great and drinks are priced right, but at night, when I have been there, they don't serve food

Two foot long beard and you still ask me for an ID. Jesus Christ.

Pretty pathetic honestly.Overweight bixtttc w brown hair comes up to me in front of peers bold as hell talm bout “you didn’t tip at all on the 3 different individual high noon purchases when a high noon here costs $5.45 each, go ahead and leave after you finish this one.” That’s why no one with a brain comes here anymore unless their complete hams who just spend money without thinking. Ima be petty on this night and go ahead and request a dispute for the 3 purchases, who do you think the bank will side with? LMAO

Great bar! Went for the Kentucky vs Tennessee game. Great atmosphere and great staff. Even when packed drinks were easy to get. Even as Kentucky fans everyone was good natured and had fun. Would definitely go back and I recommend anyone to check it out.

Terrible mean staff working here. I was cussed out by a bartender after waiting 20 minutes just trying to get a drink. My wallet was stolen and no employees would even listen to try and help me, I called the next day and was hung up on. I wouldn't be surprised if the bartender is the one who took it. Do not recommend , even the security is very rude.

Half Barrel when UT is in session is overflowing with annoying children but when school is out this is a much more chill bar. Food is great, but used to be better before they started cutting costs. Great beer selection and really great service and they got both Big Buck Hunter AND Golden Tee. One of the last townie bars on the Strip.
