The service at The Kennedy in downtown Knoxville was outstanding! We had the pleasure of being served by Jorge, and he truly made our night. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, he struck the perfect balance and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal.
The food and drinks were just as impressive. We tried a few cocktails, and they were perfectly balanced and beautifully made. The Wagyu burger and truffle fries were incredibly flavorful. The sausage pizza was also delicious.
Between the excellent food and Jorge’s exceptional service, The Kennedy easily earns a spot on our go-to list in Knoxville. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience from start to end! Drinks are next level, even something as simple as a salad was extra delicious, and my husband’s wood-fired pizza was the best he’s ever had! They forgot to send my grilled chicken out with my salad, but it arrived less than 2 minutes later from the manager. He took the upcharge for it off even though I told him it wasn’t necessary, as I’d just received my salad right before. He was so apologetic anyway and insisted on taking it off. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, pointed out his suggestions, and was very attentive. It was a fantastic service experience. We will be back when in Knox!

We made reservations for our daughter’s 40th. We walked in, and I’ve had recent ankle surgery so I was walking carefully, but the floor was slick. We got our drinks, starter, then my daughter got up to use the bathroom and promptly slid and fell! The floor was slick! My husbands food came..and we waited for the other two. 15 minutes went by then I got our waitress and asked her where our food was. She said our meal got put on two different tickets. My medium rare $44.00 prime rib was rare, and the carrots and potatoes I didn’t even hardly touch because they were cold. This was to be a wonder celebration after not seeing my daughter for 6 years. You f’d it up for me and I will never come back!
Oh, yes, the website looks like a high end place, like Flemmings or Ruth’s Chris, but it’s not! It’s just a nicer take on Ruby Tuesdays !

Terribly disappointed in our experience. The restaurant was severely understaffed and chaotic. We had a reservation, but waited quite a long time with several other patrons at the door before anyone came to the host stand to check us in. Once we were seated, we were totally ignored by what few members of wait staff they had.
We left very disappointed, and hungry.

My husband and I made reservations ahead of time and were welcomed and seated right away with a smile. Our server gave her recommendations right away and was very knowledgeable of the menu. I have a gluten free allergy and she recommended the salmon with potatoes to me and it was the best salmon I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the Philly Cheese Sourdough Pizza and the pizza was loaded with toppings and had a nice crunch to it. My husband ordered hot honey ranch on the side and that sauce elevated his dinner even further. We both highly recommend The Kennedy for a nice night out.

Absolutely delicious food. Atmosphere is great. The servers are incredible, we loved Jaedin. Have not had a bad cocktail or food item there in several visits. The only sad thing is it’s so good and popular you have to have a reservation during busy times. But expected for a high quality place. Will continue to return!

Unless you’ve made a reservation be prepared to be turned away, ignored by hostess staff as they stare at their iPads, and put at an uncomfortable high top and denied when you ask to move to one of the 20 other tables that are completely open. Host stand also has an aura of entitlement that I did not appreciate. We arrived at 3:30 and there were 20+ tables open, we were all but turned away and placed in a corner high top. We were told they were expecting reservations to rush in at 4:30 and all the tables were reserved, it is 4:30 now and not only have we watched multiple couples and families be turned away, the restaurant is less packed than it was when we walked in. The upstairs is completely open, and about 4 tables are taken downstairs. I’m not sure why it took so much effort and time to find us a table originally when all of them are open and they had to clean our seconds before we sat down, still wet. Waiter was great but host staff was completely unpleasant. We understand that you have to make room for reservations. But holding these tables for hours before anyone shows up for them is ridiculous. Won’t be back.

From the cocktails to dessert, my fiance and I enjoyed everything we got. Devils on horseback appetizer was particularly our favorite and seemed popular. The drinks were so good (Only Fans Martini). For dinner, the miso salmon and prime rib were amazing. We also recommend the sweet heat brussel sprouts. This is a good place for atmosphere and great food. Will be returning to try more items on the menu and see what seasonal specials are available. The staff was very attentive and made our dinner enjoyable.

We were celebrating a birthday. We had reservations and were a party of 4. Reid was our server and he was 10/10! Truly one of the best! Our food was so good. The date appetizer and the cocktails were a great start. Our entrees all were delicious and hot and timed perfectly. The food is bar food but elevated with great presentation.
