Great music and good food the drinks were average for a hotel bar. Also, they did not have enough help for New Year's weekend, so it was pretty slow service and the bartender was

Serving the best classic cocktails in Knoxville! However, if you're looking for a cheap Jack & Coke, then this bar is not for you. The drinks speak for themselves, they use high quality ingredients for a reasonable price. The environment is setup to mimic the bars seen in oldie Hollywood films. Definitely among the best bars you'll find in the city.

This place is fabulous! The cocktails they make there are incredible! I had the Jean Tarrou, which was perfectly crafted; all of the flavors blended together into a fabulous drink!! If I were forced to choose only one drink for the rest of my life, this would be it! The bartenders are really exceptional and know their craft. It was well worth the 40-minute wait in the dark hallway to finally get into this very small yet amazing speakeasy. I would make a special trip to Knoxville just for the opportunity to visit the Peter Kern Library again. I cannot more highly recommend this place.

Speakeasy type of environment which is cool but it was very loud with everyone talking over each other. Also the drinks are very expensive.
