The Shrimp Dock – Farragut, TN

That was the best fried catfish I have ever had and they were huge pieces.. And by the way they're not moving to Hardin Valley they're staying in Farragut

The Salmon was some the best Blackened I have had. This is a must have.

Bought a pound of Canadian salmon for about 20 dollars. Later that evening, I opened it up to cook it and it had an extreme fishy smell to it. No fresh fish should smell like this, especially salmon. Kroger had salmon for literally half the price with no stench. Won't be back.

I've visited this place several times, and the food has consistently been good to decent, so I have no complaints on that front.

However, the service is quite inconsistent. To clarify, the staff is never rude once they acknowledge you, but it can take a long time for them to do so.

Best seafood in Knoxville Tennessee. It's not your typical restaurant though. It is a market first and foremost in my opinion. I love that I can pop into the shrimp dock and get some incredible fresh seafood: prepared by me or prepared for me by the great cooks at the dock. if I don't want to take the time to prepare it myself, they do an incredible job cooking your fish and preparing your meal in any way you desire. I've been going to the shrimp dock for years and plan to continue for as long as they are in business!

Easy order ahead and the foodwas ready when we got there. Not sure about the best Slaw in Knoxville, I couldnt taste it over the pepper, a bit much. They have a great variety of fresh seafood and chowder. They even have alligator!

This was my first time coming to this one and its disappointing I ordered the large shrimp plate it came with 2 sides I ordered fries and hushpuppies and a 20 oz drink well i paid 21.00 dollars and left a 4 dollar tip the guy that took the order was very nice but when I got my food I had shrimp and fries and no hushpuppies but they put fried okara I didn't even order that and then the cocktail sauce was bad out of date or something bc it was sour tasting I will never again go to this one very unsatisfied. And the thing is they only had one other person in there getting something so they were very slow and to mess up on an order that was easy is crazy

Our family ate here once and it was OK. But we are going to give it a second try. Will update review once we do.
