I've visited this place several times, and the food has consistently been good to decent, so I have no complaints on that front.

However, the service is quite inconsistent. To clarify, the staff is never rude once they acknowledge you, but it can take a long time for them to do so.

Best seafood in Knoxville Tennessee. It's not your typical restaurant though. It is a market first and foremost in my opinion. I love that I can pop into the shrimp dock and get some incredible fresh seafood: prepared by me or prepared for me by the great cooks at the dock. if I don't want to take the time to prepare it myself, they do an incredible job cooking your fish and preparing your meal in any way you desire. I've been going to the shrimp dock for years...

Easy order ahead and the foodwas ready when we got there. Not sure about the best Slaw in Knoxville, I couldnt taste it over the pepper, a bit much. They have a great variety of fresh seafood and chowder. They even have alligator!
