Just went there and asked for wait time the waitress said they are full for the evening! The next guest behind me she told them that they have outside sitting! I will never go back!

Enjoyed a coworker meetup at Tupelo Honey at Market Square. We made a reservation as we had a large group, and the service was excellent, despite it being a very busy night with a festival happening in the square. The restaurant was very clean with a nice charm. Any version of the chicken and waffles is amazing, and the banana pudding is the best I've ever had!

Super delicious- imagine a fancy version of Cracker Barrel. This place is just amazing all around.

Popped in with friends. Mentioned a cocktail I loved from last time I visited, but the barman says that was only for happy hour - but he happily made me one anyway ?

Lizette was a pleasure! She went above and beyond during my first visit to Knoxville! Would give her 10/5 stars if I could! Food was great, food was great, and she was honest which I appreciate!

We've been there with friends twice in the last few months. I'm giving 3 stars because several people in our dining party had mediocre experiences both times we've been there. My meals were perfect both times. The fried green tomatoes over cheesy grits are sooo good, my husband ordered the tortilla soup which was excellent, my friend's salad and smash burger was delicious HOWEVER one of our friends ordered the cold smoked salmon appetizer and instead received a salmon entree which was tasteless and overcooked. Definitely not what he ordered and not what he wanted. The server adjusted the bill with a nominal discount but the fact that our server didn't hear the order correctly was her fault not ours and she didn't come to check on our table in a timely fashion so there was no option to correct the error in time for our friend to enjoy his meal as we all ate. The first time we visited Tupelo two of the meals our party of 8 ordered were incorrect and again the restaurant was so busy the error was not corrected. My breakfast meal was good that day but two of my friends meals were not what they ordered. This restaurant is busy and crowded every time I've visited or walked past while downtown. Also, the inside dining seats are uncomfortable. Many of the patrons are college age and may not be concerned with comfort. The location is great and there is a fun Urban Outfitters store directly across the street and other unique shops to browse in the area. With other good dining options close by I'm not sure we will visit Tupelo again with friends. If there is something you want on the menu, my recommendation is to get your order "to go", make certain your order is correct and enjoy it while sitting elsewhere. That's what I will do from now on.

The food was alright. I wouldn't consider it my favorite southern resturant in market square though. If you're not big on spice I would recommend.

It was my first time at Tupelo, and I had the Sweet & Spicy Chicken Waffles. WOW! the chicken was perfectly battered, cooked, and spiced. It wasn't too hot or too sweet. For me, there was plenty of food on the plate, and I ended up taking half home. I think an over easy egg on top of these chicken and waffles would have been amazing. I highly recommend Tupelo Honey!

Absolutely excellent! Had the Cobb salad with fried chicken and their house brewed ginger beer. Super fresh biscuits as well! Service was excellent. They were able to handle our full table with no issues.

The food was plentiful. The service was decent. I would eat there more if there were more menu options.

I saw this place the last time I was in downtown Knoxville and was glad I was able to stop by recently with my mom, who is not very familiar with Southern food and spirits. We had a great time with just a few small sides (she wasn't very hungry) and the weather cooperated long enough to let us sit out on the patio. About ten minutes after we left, it started bucketing down! Red beans and rice and the brussell sprouts are winners.
