An amazing little throwback experience! Great food, friendly service, super prices, fun atmosphere, and a crazy amount of food. My daughter recently moved near here after living in Knoxville for several years and my only regret is not finding this place sooner. Best breakfast experience in Knoxville!

Stopped in here with my elderly uncle and got lunch last week. He said it reminded him of the way food was prepared when he was a teenager. Although the prices were probably an awful lot cheaper back then, the food must have been pretty good if it was anything like our meals! We'll definitely be stopping back in on our next outing.

Twisters. Well I've eaten at this restaurant a lot in the past due to it being close. Today was the final straw. 1 hour wait with no one in the restaurant. Food had to be packed to go. Half us got food the other half had not. Now we checked packed orders which was wrong. I got my food last. Chicken salad sandwich. All pre-made kinda deal that ya know scoop on bread good to go. They have no since changed the menus around. I have not returned until today in about a year. Used to eat 3 days a week atleast here until we found hair all over our bread back to back times. Used to be super just now a let down. Update. All food we got to go was tossed in the trash. Table of 8 and a waste of a good lunch.

If you just want some good ol down home cooking and nothing fancy, this is your place. The menu consists of many of the familiar standards that you will find at other mom and pop places. The service was super nice and friendly. We didn't have to wait long, and we were there for lunch. Next time, we won't get so full and try desert. Thanks, Twisters!

Visited Twisters to attend a meeting of the Time Warp Vintage Motorcycle Club. Was greeted immediately by staff and place my food order right then. It came out promptly and exactly as I'd asked. Very casual environment....not fancy...but my kind of place!
