Used to be my favorite restaurant in Knoxville. We went tonight and the appetizer guacamole was enough to feed 1 person, not a group of 4. The salmon was so bland & the sweet potatoes were still raw. The flour tortilla tacos were barely warm/cooked for the fish tacos. Pretty expensive for mediocre food. Our waitress however was really great.

Great customer service from start to finish. Beyond satisfied!
Flavorful food and balanced cocktails in beautiful surroundings. I especially loved the pebbled blue velvet cushions. It makes an interior designer’s heart happy for the ambiance to match the care and thoughtfulness that goes into the food. Our service was outstanding as well.

Restaurant is beautiful. Hostess and waitress were kind and understanding. But the wait time was past our reservation and food was not good or cooked properly. They seemed short staffed and tables were left a mess. I felt bad for the staff. Hopefully it was just an off night.

The decor and food are just top-notch. Deontre the general manager runs around taking care of everything for everyone and made sure we had a wonderful night. Highly recommend!

I reserved this place for my birthday dinner with a party of 9. It had great service, top tier food, and a beautiful upscale atmosphere. The only thing I would have done differently is sat us in the main dining room to experience the music and ambiance. They placed our somewhat larger party in the “VIP room”. I sort of felt that we were stuffed away, apart from all other society in there, and I felt that they had room to accommodate our party in the main dining room.

We caught the tail end of happy hour and boy are we glad we did. They only have one special but it was such a fantastic deal that we'll be back again. Two steak or fish tacos and a cocktail for 15.00. We got an order of each and they were both delicious. The steak was tender and juicy and the fish was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. They didn't skimp on the alcohol in the cocktails, which were amazing . An elegant atmosphere topped it all off perfectly.

They don’t accept same-day reservations, even when the dining room isn’t full. The bar was open and had a pretty relaxed vibe for a Friday night, and the bartenders were attentive and friendly. I had a delicious mocktail.
What disappointed me was the lack of visible diversity among the staff—very few people of color were working there—and even more so to learn that the place is owned by white restaurateurs.
The menu was “fusion” inspired, which to me felt like it watered down the classic, full-flavor experience I was hoping for.

So disappointing... Has really gone down hill. Service was poor! After sitting down it took 20 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge us, then 25 minutes for us to receive our cocktails. Food was not hot and was not the quality we have had in the past.

My wife and i decided to splurge for our six year wedding anniversary and chose Vida because we are fans of kefi. We made a reservation so we had no wait when we arrived. Our server was Alexa and she was amazing. Very attentive and had great opinions on the menu, along with explaining how to order since we were first timers. The tamales were the best i have had in years and the Peruvian chicken was cooked to perfection. The only issue we had was the noise level. The restaurant was roughly half full and we could barely hear ourselves across the table. Other than that, the experience was amazing and we definitely plan on returning in the future.
