This place was great, but COVID-19 has taken another victim. They were removing the fixtures and signs as I passed by this afternoon. I'm so sad -- the food was very good and unique.

One of my favorite places while a student at UT. The banh mi is THE BEST. The bread was toasted to perfection and the ingredients fresh. Their pho was a regular comfort/celebration food for me and my classmates around exam times! This place is definitely a gem, and I hope it stays in Knoxville for a long time!

Thai tea was great, vegan pho was great and regular tofu bahn mi was tasty. Probably my favorite part. My order was ready before time. The staff are generally kind of snobby/rude, but that hasn't kept us from going back in for takeout orders.

H O R R I B L E. a disgrace to vietnamese cuisine. Cant get orders right and their pho is the worse pho I have EVER tasted. anyone whose ever eaten authentic vietnamese food would all agree this place sucks! horrible! they dont even have chicken broth for the pho ga! just beef. and it tasted rotten. I threw up! dont reccomend for many reasons. some stated above and the prices. I'd rather go to Bida saigon or Viet Taste then eat this over priced trash! sad thing is this is the first nor second time.

I got the pork banh mi. I've never had one before but I thought this was very flavorful and had a good portion of meat/veg. I also got the black milk bubble tea which was great and perfectly sweetened. I got the vegan egg roll which was overpriced in my opinion bc I thought it'd come with 2 but it was almost $2 for 1 small roll. It tasted fine though. I'll definitely be back

THIS PLACE IS OUTSTANDING!!! We recently stayed downtown and had the opportunity yo try Viet Bread and Tea and boy are we glad we did. The Pho' was amazing and had great taste. My wife had a bbq pork Ban Mi sandwich and it was also amazing! The tea we got with the meal was very fresh and tasted great. We live near a little Saigon in the south west and this food is even better. Please support them during these trying times

I just got smoke vegan food: bahn mi was ok. I was really missing mayo (well vegan mayo) and some spicy pepper slices but was good. Vegan egg rolls are bomb! Next time I'll order 5 just for myself. Vermicelli was good not bad not crazy good. Tofu spring roll ok too. I would recommend this place for what it is: healthy Vietnamese place. It's in downtown: you are no going to find authentic Vietnamese food here

Pork Bahn Mi is on point. The gold sauce is probably my new favorite condiment, whatever it is, and their bread is always nice and crispy. Got my second one to-go yesterday bc COVID—just called it in, paid over the phone, and called when I pulled up and she brought it out to me- couldn’t be easier. Definitely the best sandwich downtown. Already looking forward to the next one.

Excellent food and milk teas here. The staff has also been very careful about the spread of the virus while remaining courteous and professional. Definitely will order again here in the future.

This place has settled into Gay St well and is a solid option for Vietnamese comfort food. I have had the beef pho and chicken bahn mi, both of which were tasty. The bahn mi bread was delightful! Pro tip, you can adjust the sugar level in your bubble tea if you ask. The owner is usually in the shop and converses with regulars; it's nice to see family businesses downtown. It's a small place, but even when it's full seating will open up quickly. Everyone in there is nice to interact with. I hope they'll be around for a long time.

A great, fast little spot to get your pho fix. The bahn mi sandwiches are also delicious.

Another local spot for those visiting downtown Knoxville. Really close to a lot of hotels. Found this spot by walking by - my friend was looking for something filling but also without meat. I wanted something with chicken. We both wound up with vermicelli bowls (chicken for me, tofu for her). A lot of other great things to choose from. And the egg roll that came with the bowl was hot, crisp and tasty. My bowl was a bit heavy on the cilantro and the chicken seemed to be more dark meat (not bad, just not a preference of mine). But portions were good, the veggies were fresh, and the vermicelli was well done. Decor is nice and service was excellent.
