I was served cold gravy. The waitress attempted to act surprised that it was cold. However, gravy is one thing when it is cold it is painfully obvious because it sets up. This gravy and a peak on it from where it was slung off the spoon cold. Of course, there was no more made, and the wait would have been 20 minutes while I had finished my other plates. Unacceptable.
This waffle house is great. Honestly they're prompt and the food is always good. I don't have any complaints about this location. It's the only late night restaurant besides Wendy's open this side of town and usually that's when I go.

Kid-friendliness: Best to get there after 6 am. For the kiddos. It is not because of the people who work there either. Patrons can be a bit rowdy on weekends after closing down other establishments. But as an adult... sometimes that is where the entertainment is.
