It was our first time there tonight and it was good to see you all busy around 7-730 or so. There were elderly people, young adults, parents with little kids, etc and we liked the atmosphere a lot. I got a mudslide and my husband got a chocolate custard with cookie dough. They were both really good! We'll have to try another flavor next time. Thank you guys for a great treat tonight!

I can only give four stars because there have been a couple of times where we have waited for someone to emerge from the back to help us. Waited as in more than ten minutes. Other than that, the custard is great and the daily flavors are always fun to try. We always check the calendar to see what's offered and have even started splurging on some quarts to take home. You can't go wrong with any flavor, but the Smokey Mountain Madness is a must try!

We attempted to go to Whit's at 7:00pm on a Thursday, but their doors were locked (their posted hours say they are open until 8:30). There was no sign on the door explaining the early closure, but we saw employees inside, so we called the shop. The employee who answered said they had "just closed for cleaning". I have worked several jobs like this, and "cleaning" was always done outside of posted business hours if it was more than minor cleaning that could be done between serving customers. Very unprofessional.
