Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Myself and my two young sons eat at the Kodak Cracker Barrel at least twice per week. We know most of the retail and servers by name. This cracker barrel delivers consistently. We know the menus by heart and fully utilize the perks of the rewards membership. If you come...you are likely to see us there: smiling, talking to our friends (the employees) and enjoying great food.

The restaurant was slammed so I cut them a little break with three stars. Service was VERY slow. The greens I ordered as a side had a distinct odor and taste of fish. Terrible!

Greeted and seated quickly. Server was a single star and had too many tables. She did what she could and tried but needed help. Fail on management for putting her on her own that way.
Orders were wrong. Told us choices we couldn't have, so have to ask for additional items. Had to ask for refills and ask for sides more then once.
Let manager know as we left. Asked for no compensation. Manager didn't seem concerned that the server was overwhelmed.

Waited along time for server then waited again for drinks, then waited for food. People came in 20 minutes behind us they got their drinks before us. Everything we asked for she kept forgetting to bring us had to ask 3 times for lemons. Bathroom was awful track can piled up a foot over the can and on the floor.

Great meal! I had chicken tenders, fried orka and dumplings ~ delicious dumplings! Hubby had cajun steak with shrimp (tender & delicious) and hash brown casserole & onion pedals. Our server was friendly & took good care of us. The restaurant was clean and the gift side well stocked with beautiful and seasonal stuff ~ definitely spent too much money in there lol!
Would go again & highly recommend!

Food had sat in que, so was only warm,, served wrong side, had to wait on drinks. Still left server 15 tip, but won't be back for a while
