I’ve had their food multiple times always good and consistent. Went today to have the driest and most overcooked meat I’ve ever had. I watched as the fresh fries came out only to be served some cooked 2 hours ago. They also gave me green beans instead of Mac and cheese. We ordered 3 plates and they were all consistent that’s for sure… tenderloin is difficult to cook and be moist but there is no excuse for the two shoulder plates that tasted like deer jerky.

The first time was awesome but I haven’t gotten a good meal since. Went today and ordered 2 plates one was okay and the other was not eatable. Won’t be going back

The food was great. They now have French Fries which will help them. Large selection for a barbeque joint to include Chicken Strips and Salad for those who may not like BBQ.

Excellent food and friendly service. We had the shoulder plate with beans and slaw and shredded pork sandwich. The hot sauce was the perfect amount of heat.

We recently visited Backyard BBQ in Lafayette, TN, all the way from Maine, and we were delighted by the distinct local flavors. The BBQ here is noticeably different but absolutely delicious. What stood out most was the friendly service; the staff made us feel right at home, and the service was impressively quick. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just passing through, this spot is a must-try for authentic Southern barbecue.

I passed a BBQ called "Pit Stop" in town that was jam-packed with the lunch crowd, and a few miles farther on I rolled past this spot. The smoker out back was billowing, and the parking lot was pretty full...so I turned around and headed back. It's an "order at the counter and come get it" place - no waitresses. The menu is chalked on the wall to the right, with prices listed including the tax which is kinda cool. Good selection including the obligatory pulled pork (known simply as BBQ hereabouts), tenderloin, shoulder, chicken breast, pork chops, and burgers and hotdogs. They have mayo slaw AND vinegar slaw - more about them in a minute, as well as the other usual side suspects. No fries, no baked potatoes.I ordered the tenderloin and both kinds of slaw - I do love slaw and the other sides were pretty standard fare.I also ordered "medium" sauce, which was delivered on the side. It was a half full coffee cup with a lid, loosely wrapped in aluminum foil and was plenty. BBQ sauce in this region seems pretty localized. Here it was a vinegar-base sauce that is a really thin consistency. There was a bottle of Mild Sauce on the table already, labeled "Shake Well Before Each Use." The medium looked like they just added some cayenne to the mild for a little kick. Both sauces were good and complemented the tenderloin wellThe tenderloin was a bit dry - as are pretty much every one of 'em I've ever had - but had a great texture and flavor. The sauce kind of soaked in to the meat and made it even better. The slaw on the left is the mayo slaw - it was a tiny bit sweet with a slightly nutty flavor, and not quite as crunchy as the other. The vinegar slaw was a little more crispy (may have just been a bit fresher?) and had a great sweet/sour flavor. The dressing on this type of slaw is watery and if it's not sweetened too much, I love it! (This was just right!)The plate was topped off with a couple slices of white bread and made for a great lunch. The only thing that would have improved it for me was a couple slices of onion and a couple dill pickle spears...but that's probably just the Okie in me.All in all, I recommend this place as a great spot to stop off for lunch. The "unusual" sauce (to me) and the two kinds of slaw alone made it worth a try.

Parking: Plenty of parking, there are spots next to the building, in front closer to the road, and along the sides of the lot.

Horrible… I got food poisoning after eating here once. Also heard she scams marketers by taking their consult but not paying them for their service. Cheap people…
